Well I went to this University, and i graduated the term this speech took place. Although i graduated in a different class (csub graduates to many departments to hold in one) I did not get to hear her speech. Although she did seem to go a little too long with her views, she was directing this talk to an audience that is anti-immigrant. Keep in mind Bakersfield is a big Republican base, remains to have extreme conservative views, and old views including racism... but she got her point accross.
