hi great vid, just a question, when u moved the hinge further into the lid so that it stopped at around 110 degrees did it not throw it out of centre to the box?
Very nice - I'm refinishing garden benches and and at the point of applying the finish - never used wipe on and found your video. BTW - have you ever been on the website lumberjocks com? A great woodworking site - you'd be a wonderful asset to the community.
great video! im making boxes now....about 10 or so..ready for finishing and this video has helped me. sand, poly, sand, poly, sand poly...sand a bit then pastewax GREAT
I really appreciate your kind experience sharing. I am planning to do one of these to my wife in our first marriage anniversary (plus some Jewellery inside).
thank you so much for these videos, they helped a lot. I am about to make one similar for my girlfriend and was wondering if you could give me the cost of the supplies you used (i have all of the tools already) and about how long it took to complete (how many hours a day?) thanks!
You are a god! I wish I had all the cool toys you have. I've been making a jewelry box myself (whish is why I found this) using the simplest of tools it's been slow going but I'm getting there. Regardless of how few tools I have I still learned a lot and watched every episode as to not miss a thing. Thank you.
Wow! all I can say is... Amazing work on both making the jewelry box and explaining how to make it. I'm a beginner craftman and I've learn so much from watching your videos thank so much.
I loved the videos, I watched 1-7 in a row without interruption. I watched these with the hopes of getting some ideas, but your finished product was awesome. I am completely jealous of your skills and tools. My jewelry box is going to suck compared to this. Either way, great work on your part.
this was awesome! Thanks for the video! I am going to do this for my girlfriend for xmas! I learned more then I thought i would :) thanks, and great work
Neat trick on the sandpaper. That'll be quite handy. You're pretty good at this. It's not very far from a pro presentation. You are a natural at this, just add some pro equipment and editing.
thank you very much man! this was a lot of fun to watch:) and it's nice to see someone with skills that don't have $40K in tools. I want your coping saw:) lol.
This was an awesome video. Very informative. cleared up some long standing finishing problems I've encountered. thank you very much. My next project is a chess board for sure!
thanks for the tips. . . very helpful for a person with no workshop experience such as me... now... wish me luck to finish my box without losing any digits
FFFFUUUCCCCKKKKK WHY DID MY GIRLFRIEND HAVE TO WATCH THESE!!!!! NOW I HAVE TI MAKE ONE D:

@Razsim Most lumber yards carry maple. You may have to go to a specialty dealer if they don't have it where you live.
