the vids rly slow loading idk y but... looking over some comment and watching 1 min of ur vid i think u rly need to check ur Japanese spelling... if yu say things wrong they mean different things. and you can be misunderstood. so as far as i got.. ur 1st tip is... "Kekkou desu" plz spell correctly.
and the difference between ramen in japan and westernised ramen is a million miles. ramen in america either has different flavor to japanese ramen and is not as high quality, especially in ingredients. i would HIGHLY recommend visiting japan, you will be blown away by it in every way possible. it a completely different world that you're not used to and its so exciting =D
in ireland we just say cheers usually when drinking alcoholic drinks but you can say it when you want if you order drinks afterwards say cheers but its a bit silly but its an friendly thing to do! also good for when there is a awkard silence and it might kick off the conversation!
WARNING : public toilets can be dirty in ireland (isolated toilets, park toilets) but usually ones in shopping centres and public places are clean!
"keko desu" can be also used for saying no in other situations like in the supermarket when they give you lots of plastic bags you can also say "keko desu" like no thank you.
First off, thanks for these tips. They are really helpful. I see that alcohol is pretty much a big part of the social culture. What if you don't drink alcohol at all? Is it considered rude? Is there a polite way to get out of drinking?
Eating a lot! Yesss! In college, I noticed that my Japanese friends didn't eat very much...I worried that if/when I made it overseas, I'd run out of fuel. ^_^
You forgot to mention they're excessive pornographee and androgynous rock bands.

I was wondering, are you suppose to say 'Itadakimasu.' and 'Gochiso Samadeshita.' if you are eating alone or is it only when you are around others?

Kampai means cheers.
Itadakimasu means "thanks for the food"
Gochiso samadeshita means "it was a real feast.
