  • I also made a video about my 2006 H2 SUT with K&N FIPK cold air intake. My Hummer is averaging 18.9 MPG and 20.1 MPG with front drive shaft removed.

  • @xxFel415xx I've not removed my drive shaft, I probably would if I were towing it behind a motorhome, but I like having my 4x4 intact. The video was made eight months ago and today I am getting 10.9 to 13.9 in town. I have not been on the highway since I did this video, I think driving arounf town is clogging things up, I may run a can of Seafoam through it to clean it out a little. I expect to be back up at 14.7 in town and 17.0 on the highway after the Seafoam flush.

  • i know where youre coming from. I drove a 1992 mercedes 600SEL with a 6 litre V12 car weighs 5200 lbs & i was getting just over 20 mpg over 4 years of ownership. People love to pick on big toys all day. Most will never touch them in a lifetime & dont know squat about them. Many here are "internet" experts. lol the big vehicule's vanity should state; BLOW ME

  • Hank hill?! :D

  • @keelala Hank hill? You lost me.

  • Hummers suck

  • @Sydney1Em It's okay Sydney... I understand!

  • @DIZEMANPHOTO You understand what, they are by far the ugliest cars ever produced. I'm sure they can perform superbly, but the outside is fucking trash.

  • @Sydney1Em I understand that you are the null that beauty and ugly are based upon and that it is your taste in vehicles that drives the market of what is attractive to buyers and what is not. Believe me, I fully understand you imagine that what you like and what you do not like, what you find beautiful and what you find ugly is the final word in what simply must be. I am very familiar with your psychosis that causes you to imagine what you believe is true actually must be.

  • @Sydney1Em I understand that the fact that I like the lines of the truck means nothing to you Sydney, your psychosis does not allow you to accept that possibility that you have no taste, have poor taste and might not be the judge of what is and what is not beautiful. That would be too much for you to handle, so you imagine anything you do not like must suck. Oh! Sydney, it's not a car... it's a truck! I am pretty sure the designers did not intend it to be as pretty as a Ferrari or a Corvette.

  • @Sydney1Em What I understand is that this is your personal opinion Sydney. What you apparently do not understand as that your opinion carries very little weight and has very little value except to YOU and a few others that share the same opinion. So far, you have used third-grade descriptions like, "Suck!" and "Trash!" which really tell more about you than they do Hummers, which very likely you have never even been in, the odds are you know little more than nothing about the TRUCK.

  • @DIZEMANPHOTO Yeah, I could sit down with you, discuss and write an A+ essay on the "issue" but trust me, there's too much in between us to ever find a common language. As I can see, no disrespect, you're a mature man, middle American, married(or not) and so on. I'm just an 18 year old Australian, doing my year end exams and wasting my spare time on YouTube. The Hummer is a car reffered to as a truck, which isn't popular at all over here. The social and demographic differences are just too big.

  • @Sydney1Em The Hummer is built on a Chevy Tahoe chassis, not sure why you call it a CAR. Do you call all SUVs cars? Social demographic differences? You can buy a Hummer H2 in the United States for less money than you can buy a KIA Sorrento. Somebody has spewed gallons of ignorance and hate toward this vehicle that when it comes down to it, just don't make much sense. They don't HATE the Chevy Tahoe, yet they LOATHE the Hummer H2.. SAME TRUCK! Same MGP give or take a mile per gallon.

  • @Sydney1Em Virtually all ISSUES regarding the Hummer H2 are MANUFACTURED by those who need something to hate. Is it GREAT ON GAS MILEAGE? NOPE! Neither is the Ford Super Trucks, the 350 or 450 series Fords. Neither are the GMC Yukons or Chevy Tahoes... THEY ARE TRUCKS! People seem to accept that Uncle WILLEY only gets 4 miles per gallon on a flat road in his Motorhome, that's okay, but my Hummer H2 which gets 12-17 miles per gallon. THAT'S AN ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE SPIT ON AND CURSED!!

  • @Sydney1Em I had a college kid, probably trying to impress his girlfriend in Annapolis, Maryland last year, when I began pumping gas, he yelled out, "Thanks for raping the planet!" It caught me off-guard, but then I realized, he was driving an old, beat up Pontiac 6000 and when he pulled away from the pumps, he was belching black smoke out of his exhaust, getting probably worse gas mileasge than I was. But his IGNORANCE commanded him to take a stand against a Hummer, facts did not matter to him.

  • @Sydney1Em socially, environmentally the effects of the Hummer, ALL HUMMERS COMBINED are MOOT! When it is all said and done, nobody in the future will be looking back declaring from loud speakers that HUMMERS DESTROYED THE PLANET. Hummers are just something for haters to hate to make them feel better, feel as though they took on something, but in reality... It's a truck somebody decided to hate. PERIOD! Made far more evil than it really is, by those who NEEDED it to be.

  • @Sydney1Em Yes! I am a 57 year-old man, lived a very full life. Married to my best friend for 40 years. My bio is at dizeman.com click the About button to read a partial bio. When it comes to the Hummer H2, who do you imagine is more the expert on the topic, you or me? I own an H2, know the ins and outs, what it will do and what it won't, what it costs to own, maintain and insure. The odds are you have discussed the ISSUE of the Hummer with friends, maybe in class, but not in an actual Hummer.

  • @DIZEMANPHOTO lol fair enough. Again, I was just talking about the actual looks of the Hummer. Oh, and a bit off topic, who's the hot chick with you on Google plus? :) And do you personally know some of these celebrities?

Oh and just a quick one, what do you think about rap music and can you please name a few rappers(if you know any of them) lol I know it's a bit random, but think of it as a survey. Because hip-hop came from the USA, I want to know what does a random American know? Thanks :)

  • @Sydney1Em In June and Sept. 2011, I attended a Shoot The Centerfold Workshops taught by Playboy's top Centerfold/Cover photographers Arny Freytag, David Mecey and Jarmo Pohjaniemi where I was trained in the Playboy Way. I photographed Playmate/Centerfolds Miss May 2010 Kassie Lyn Logsdon, Miss July 2010 Shanna Marie McLaughlin, Miss December 2010 Ashley Hobbs, Ashley Mattingly Miss March 2011, Olivia Paige Miss September 2011 and Jessa Hinton Miss July 2011. The HOT CHICK is Jessa Hinton.

  • @Sydney1Em So, that's SIX Playboy Centerfolds/Playmates I have photographed. I do not know the Playmates personally, but many of the Rock & Roll subjects are people I know personally. Many more know me as DIZEMAN and that's the neat part, I'll be watching a show on TV, see a celebrity I have photographed and I turn to my wife and say, "The neat part is not that I know them... But, THEY KNOW ME!" Rappers? I don't know any Rappers except Tone Loc. I was requested to shoot his portrait and did.

  • @Sydney1Em When I was asked to photograph Tone Loc, I had to ask my son who he was and my son responded, "Dad, with all the weddings you've shot, you don't know who Tone Loc is? Funky Cold Medina, WILD THING!" Both songs I had heard every weekend for nearly 20 years. Nice guy actually. But No! Though I know OF a few rappers, it's not my genre' of music. Don't know any Rappers personally, Tone Loc may or may not remember my name, it was his first portrait in five years,

  • @Sydney1Em I do appreciate your intellectual input though. Really! I do!

  • Thanks

  • Hey thanks for the info. Got a question for ya: Is it true that you claim your H2 on your taxes as a tax write off?

  • @BigDaddyDorelle --- Like any other vehicle, if you use it in work, there is a deduction for miles driven, but I think what you are talking about was the Farmer's Subsidy/Deducation that used to be available for Hummer H1's. The H1 qualified at one time as a FULL WRITE OFF as FARM EQUIPMENT because of it's GVW and there were a few buying H1 Hummers and when duductions were accounted for, they ended up getting the Hummer FREE. I am not sure that IRS Deduction is still available. H2? NO!

  • These Hummers are selling like hotcakes in Caracas, Venezuela

cause it cost lass than 2 bucks to fill the whole gas tank full

  • pleas can you tell me how much can hummer fuel hold? i mean how much hours or days??? coz i might get hummer h2 but caind of worried about fuel thats why ?

  • @abdoulazizksa --- The Hummer H2 has a 32 gallon fuel cell. If you are concerned about fuel prices or capacity, you should not buy a Hummer. I will NEVER say Hummers get great mileage, they are just not the EVIL HORROR that many people describe them to be. They are JUST TRUCKS and get TRUCK MILEAGE. Sometimes better than other trucks, sometimes a tad worse. How many hours? How many days? Depends on how you drive, up a mountain, down a mountain, across a flat valley. JUST LIKE ANY OTHER TRUCK.

  • @DIZEMANPHOTO thx sooooooooo much for advice :)

  • thanks for the vid now i'm going to buy it. i drive a 2004 3500 chevy van express 6.oL n i imagine it would get the same mpg . i'm surprised at ur hummer, my van get 16.7 with 14 passengers and a trailer full of luggage. hummer are awesome

  • @yeah4123 I'm not pushing Hummers, like most HD pickups and vans, they are not INexpensive to operate. I am a photographer and use the H2 to get me where I might not otherwise be able to go, but more importantly and without excuses... I just like them and unless something has changed in AMERICA, if you like something and can afford it, WHY NOT? My entire point is, Hummers are no more or less EVIL than other HD vehicles, but some nitwits have decided to declare them so and exaggerate the facts

  • @yeah4123 I had a college kid getting gas next to me in Annapolis, MD yell at me, "THANKS FOR RAPING THE ENVIRONMENT!", I guess he was showing off for his girlfriend as he pulled off in his 12 year-old Pontiac 6000 belching black smoke out of his exhaust. These are the kind of IGNORANT nitwits Hummer owners have to deal with. I read about Hummers getting 6mpg in the city and 9-12 mpg on the highway and I thought, THESE MUST BE HUMMERS WITH BLOWN ENGINES! CLEAN YOUR FUEL INJECTORS!!!! SEAFOAM

  • @yeah4123 Do I profess Hummers are ECONOMICAL? NOPE! THAT WOULD BE A LIE! But they are not products of SATAN, nor do they stand out as unique in their fuel consumption. They perform FAR, FAR, FAR better than Grandpa's Motorhome and nobody is threatening to take Grandpa off the road or have MOTORHOME HIT SQUADS as they do Hummer Hater Hit Squads. Hummers get about the same mileage give or take an mpg here or there as any full size HD pickup or Van. THAT IS MY ENTIRE POINT!

  • Do I make claims the Hummer H2 gets GREAT GAS MILEAGE? NOPE! I just argue it is not the EVIL, 6 mile per gallon, 8 mile per gallon BLIGHT ON THE ENVIRONMENT the HUMMER HATERS have lied to suggest and support their over emotional, willing to lie to support theri cause bullshit. The Hummer H2 gets about the same gas mileage, give or take a mile or two, one way or the other than MOST HD PICKUPS and MANY LD PICKUPS and apparently a few Jeeps. It's not SPECIAL.... IT'S JUST NOT EVIL! IT'S A TRUCK!

  • My H2 is in PERFECT running condition. I use the best oil, the best tranny fluid. I paid $220 for an oil change to get the best oil, when I could have spent $49 at Jiffy Lube to put garbage in my truck. I run tires at the proper inflation even though it provides a bumpier ride that running them softer. I talked with a guy who owns a Jeep CJ6 in great condition, he gets 14. mpg. I talked with Chevy and Ford truck owners that get 12 - 14 mpg and my son's Dodge Ram gets 13 mpg. Yet HUMMERs suck?

  • Here is the difference. I am trying to be honest and factual when so many have jumped on the bandwagon that Hummers are the worst gas guzzlers, to the point you put a hit out on the truck, Hummer hater websites offering bounties to anyone who vandalizes a Hummer, other SICK BULLSHIT, but let someone post a FACTUAL VIDEO of the truck doing NOT GREAT, but NOT AS BAD AS LIARS IMAGINE and you juat can't allow yourself to accept that FACT.

  • YOU MUST HAVE IT IN NEUTRAL, AND HAVE A CHEVY SILVERADO PUSHING YOU.OR YOUR SPEEDO CRAPPED OUT LIKE ALL OF THEM DO, AND IT'S READING 40 MILES FASTER THAN YOUR ACTUALLY DRIVING.AT :24 YOU HAVE FORD FOCUS PASSING YOU,LOOK AT HOW SLOW THE LINES ON THE ROAD ARE GOING.........THAT AIN'T NO DAYUM 70MPH,THAT'S AVERAGE ECONOMY AT 30MPH

  • YOU MUST HAVE IT IN NEUTRAL, AND HAVE A CHEVY SILVERADO PUSHING YOU.OR YOUR SPEEDO CRAPPED OUT LIKE ALL OF THEM DO, AND IT'S READING 40 MILES FASTER THAN YOUR ACTUALLY DRIVING.

  • @babymonkey2 Well, unfortunately for you... the truck is going 70mph down a highway between Phoenix and Apache Junction, Arizona. REGARDLESS of what you IMAGINE, the SPEEDOMETER WORKS! You're probably a conspiracy buff huh? You IMAGINE my truck is doing 40 mph less than the speedometer indicates. PUT THE BEER DOWN YOU'VE HAD ENOUGH TO DRINK!

  • @babymonkey2 You musta, you musta, well, clearly the dash indicator shows I am in DRIVE and the speedo shows I am doing 70 mph. I guess I tore out the entire electronics of the Hummer just to make this video. SLAP YOURSELF YOU SOUND SILLY TO REASONABLE THINKING PEOPLE! I've been honest, there are no tricks. The trucks does not always get 17.3 or even the best so far of 17.9, but under the right conditions, flat, level and at 70 mph, IT GETS ACCEPTABLE MILEAGE 16.9 to 17.9 as I have stated.

  • The speed limit is 65 mph, I am maintaining the flow of traffic at 70 mph, certainly as on any highway trip, there are cars that pass you. If you look at the video, while fumbling to get phone/video camera in a position to see the speedo, I inadvertantly backed off to 65 mph for about 10 seconds and that is when the car on the left passed me, but then when I got a good grip on the camera, I retained 70mph the rest of the video.

  • YOU MUST HAVE IT IN NEUTRAL, AND HAVE A CHEVY SILVERADO PUSHING YOU.

  • @babymonkey2 Be stupid if you want to... I'm driving on a freeway between Phoenix and San Carlos Apache Reservation at 70 mph. Regardless of what you IMAGINE or NEED, there's no trickery. While driving from Vegas to Maryland, I got 17.9 miles per gallon through New Mexico and coming into Texas. THAT is the best gas mileage I have been able to get. Around town in Vegas I get 12.9 to 15 mpg depending on traffic and temperature. ------ Those are the FACTS!

  • damn how did you manage that? My h2 gives me less on the highway

  • @extremepsychogamer It's entirely stock, well maintained, but entirely stock with stock tires. I did 16,000 miles in four months last year, drove the Hummer from Vegas to Maryland, back to Vegas and then repeated that trip again Vegas to Atlantic Ocean, back to Vegas... I was getting DIZZY, but the H2 got 17.9, my highest highway rating so far, running EAST on I-10 through New Mexico and Texas. My worst mileage was climbing the mountains of North Carolina which was 11.9 mpg, AVG was 14,2 mpg

  • @DIZEMANPHOTO

what speed do you find the most fuel efficient?

  • @extremepsychogamer As you can see in the video, I was doing 70 mph and I find that is about the best speed for fuel economy. It all goes back to physics, it takes more energy to get something moving than it does to keep something moving, so dragging 6,500 pounds of Hummer from a dead stop to cruise speed takes far more energy than maintaining a speed in which the mass of the truck, through inertia tends to want to keep it moving.

  • Again, Grandpa's motorhome gets 4 to 6 miles per gallon, no parades in the steet wanting to band Grandpa's ride.

  • nice!!!.. hey what year is ur hummer H2 ..is it a SUT or SUV.. thanks!

  • @ccfultrasound it's a 2007 SUV. Entirely stock!

  • nice!!!.. hey what year is ur hummer H2 ..is it a SUT or SUV.. thanks!

  • Is the Hummer H2 REALLY all that BIG or HUGE or MONSTEROUS as the HATERS have suggested? Compared to what? The standard lane size of a maintained road is 12 feet. The Hummer H2 is 6.75 feet wide, that's HALF the size of the space given for the vehicle to drive in. That means when I'm driving my H2 or you are driving your Ford Focus, we EACH have a 12 foot wide area assigned to use to use as we please. The argument that the H2 is HUGE is ABSOLUTELY MOOT! I The H2 is HALF as wide as allowed by law

  • The Hummer H2 is just a truck, it happened to be something NITWIT HATERS could latch on to and argue a point that vaguely exists in misguided concerns and ridiculously misreported figures. ---- The Hummer H2 is just a Chevy Tahoe frame and engine with a boxier body attached to it. It's BOXY so it looks HUGE because the corners are not rounded off like most cars. The EXTREME LOW gas mileage has been EXAGGERATED to suit the needs of the IGNORANT!

  • wow and this whole time i thought they were gas eaters...its still not too much for a car but i mean look at it's size :P SHUT THEM HATERS UP. good work
