I'd love to see Tarpley debate an Austrian School ideologue. It annoys me how the "free market" followers always call Tarpley a communist or a socialist when he is clearly neither of those.

you should always take the side of the person who wants to continue the conversation over one who doesnt... spread of ideas is the only way evolution of ideas can occur.. Tarpley was right factualy about many many things but his solution of a "new deal" is bad. we need austrian economics with money back buy gold and silver which has been proven powerful for centuries, land as well. but nobody's rights should be violated due to government guarantees.
@jaguarclaw Seems like Harold is though. Buckminister Fuller? That's who Harold admires?. He's okay but who gives a shit about him now.Read GRUNCH OF GIANTS though if you dont mind the prose. I prefer Machiavelli myself.
"Anglo-American Monetarist garbage-that's perverted." So right. The monetarists and their Mont Pelerin society folowers who are in thrall to this economic belief system and have poisoned the fiscal bloodstream of America. Tarpley's beliefs in supporting unions, getting away from finance capital and derivatives and Roosevelt Freedom from Want provisions are afr cry from the sick excuse of a capitalistic society we live in now.
I agree with Tarpley on Economics. The whole so-called discipline- which I considered studying in college-is nothing but a justification for keeping those wihout resources down and out while those few who own everything enjoy the rarified air.
The fact that Tarpley is interviewed only by Russia Today instead of MSNBC and CNN illustrates the anti-intellectual nature of this country.
I really enjoyed this outtake video with Tarpley and Channer. Its good to see that Webster Tarpley is more than just a magnificent brain surrounded by a head and held up by a body. The chance for us that only know him from his books, WCR, The Alex Jones show and video to get to see him unwind, laugh, drink and joke around is priceless. A very good idea Mr. Taplin, thank you. --Rott
if we could get these men into a serious discussion backed by an institution of some means (not much - more about courage) on the topic of economics we could sail through our economic problems
Interesting discussion, though one has to wonder about Tarpley's dismissal of Newton. Whomever one believes deduced the calculus first, Newton's work is seminal to the development of mathematics, mechanics, optics, and gravity. That said, evidence that he believed in alchemy and mysticism do tarnish his reputation as a rationalist.
I'm now watching this one in the hopes that I'll learn a lot more! Thanks Paula for the Leg advice. I just got out of a shower,it is FEELING A LOT BETTER!! :)
I love Webster. He is great. Especially from 40 seconds to 1:05 because it is hilarious and from 3:05 to 4:05 because it is sooo true. Keppler and Leibnitz are great!
they give us steak to eat and all they want is a little cheese to nibble on. i enjoy these behind the scenes gems, so rich in content. the interaction is priceless.
Excellent . I love when Webster says: I choose the optimism of the will over the pessimism of the intelligence. Give him some more wine and cheese, please.
in all respect to Harold, often misunderstood for his faith that "scarcity has been transcended" and a non labor based understanding of wealth I hope to go farther down the rabbit hole to create a media platform that unites and not divides...especially over philosophies
these guys are hilarious lol

Certainly a philosophical narrative exists which pits Tarpley against all comers. Can't you just go live, 24/7?
