Well I wasn't referring to high end home console entertainment systems, only proprietary handheld devices like the 3ds or NGP.

There will always be a market for high end consoles and PC gaming for sure, but psp and ds will be a thing of the past in the near future. The GPU's in these dual, and soon to come, quad core phones are equal to or more powerful than the 3DS and NGP. Hell, they even have 3d displays too!

Just a matter of time b4 devs start making HQ games for them.

Dude... Its called Onlive and Gaikai. onlive is making an app for tablets so you can play games like fear 3 on a xoom or ipad just with java and or flash. Gaikai has Wow working on ipads and yes its real.... Cloud gaming will replace Gaming pc's, gameboys and consoles soon.

The ipad sucks and so will the ipad 2. The xoom is so better in everyway. Ipad 2 still won't have 4g. The resolution is better on the xoom as well. But im sure all of you Apple followers will still sink your last dime into the ipad 2 and the iphone 5 as soon as its released. Even though nobody knows anything about the iphone 5, you fanboys are still planning on buying it. android in general kinda sucks for gaming, if the developers don't make games for your platform. it doesn't matter what kind of advanced hardware you have, tegra 2 or whatever. notice the ipad doesn't have any tegra 2 processor, but has much more games than this xoom tablet ever will.

@xxmaddogspencxx14 emulate is an extra work for any platform cause it makes double work, one for changing the language of the game, and other for the graphics, so in general is not a good idea to use emulators for PC, Xbox 360 or PS3 (windows and games for windows always slow on it), or any tablet... so it´s better to buy the game for your platform
