@bankaikun94 The game isn't Steamworks, so I don't think so. Sprocket (Bohemia Interactive's personal webstore) is selling Arma2CO for for $27, but they're doing daily deals each day this December (today's is Arma2 for $5, you'll still need OA), you might be able to get it cheap there.

@Skeeeder For Arma? Not really, I'd say Arma has a relatively mature community compared to other games. Personally I don't care too much for those "realism" clans, they take things a little too seriously, but there are plenty of them to be found in the Arma community if that's what you're looking for.

How many people were playing in this game at the one time? I've never played Arma, so I have no idea what the team sizes are like, but from the vid it seems that there are around 4-5.

@SuperStewka I was in communication with only a handful of people (my liaison with ground a second aircraft namely), while actively listening to one of the squad's radio channels. If I recall correctly there were about 40 other people playing in this particular mission, most were on the ground though. When I pull up my map in the video, each of those markers (i.e. A1, A2, etc) are six people.

@SuperStewka Yeah, it's still active. I don't care much for Arma's public multiplayer community though to be honest. Most groups, or even servers, run with A2+OA, so you won't be able to get a good feel for the game with Arma2Free, but two unmodded groups that I can recommend (which I now think have formed one group) are RPS and Folk, you can find info at herosquad(dot)org . There's also groups that play with mods, like us (ShackTac), United Operations, 6th Sense, and some others
