its a conversation by one person i havent heard both talk over each other like in real life. at 6:48 the larynx machine was not shut down when he said "oh boy" so the start of "oh boy" has a little larynx effect in it. he would have pulled it off by talking with the larynx effect thing , recorded that,THEN came in with the voice and answered, record the two and there you go..if you ever recorded alot it is obviously fake.
The reason why it isnt well known is because various scientific instituations made a mockery of his work, and very few serious studies in this field have ever taken place. I have no doubts that George Meek was genuine and recomend you read THE GHOSTS OF 29 MEGACYCLES as an excellent starting reference.
