for those of you living in or near the region of LAURENS213 you may have to pay a fee to use the software of GridinSoft but for me in america i was able to use it free. now its possible im running on a trial product and i just didnt see the warning about it or it really is free here in america, give it a try atleast and if it does turn out that you have to pay to use it what have you wasted 10 min of time. have a good day
Fix start menu: right click task bar select properties go to start menu tab click recent programs check box click customize choose display link for desired items
Fix "lost" files: from control panel go to folder options choose show hidden files and folders. right click desired files click properties, and uncheck Hidden and read only. re hide hidden files/folders

It's funny how they don't show you that you have to register this GridinSoft program for 30 euros before you can actually remove the virus.
