I understand that Anton is an amazing programer and a good friend of yours but the work load sounds like a lot for one person. If you look into other people to help, I know Torsten, from QPAC, knows a lot about CRJ systems, he is doing the programing for a CRJ700 at the moment, oh and I love the t34, thanks a lot!

That is awesome. Much better than the default xplane rain. The default xplane rain sounds terrible as well. i hope it is fixed very soon and I hope xplane developers see your efforts and pull up their socks.
Others have commented on this, but I think perhaps the intent of the comments have been misunderstood. I agree that the wipers putting rain back onto the windshield on the upsweep looks a bit strange, and takes away from the realism slightly.
Please know that's not a criticism, Japo32. It's an observation brought on by just how convincing the rest of the model is. Everything else in the model is awesome, and so this one detail serves to break the illusion - much like the uncanny valley problem.

Its worse than no rain at all. If you're not going to do it right, then don't do it at all.

Don't get upset because I think it looks gimmicky--I doubt I'm the only one. Your rain repeats itself on that loop as consistently as the flashing lights in the background. Just take out the rain if you can't make it random or make the wipers not wipe rain BACK onto the windscreen.
Otherwise the product appears great, but sometimes great products can be ruined by stupid gimmicks. Especially if there are lots more of the same found elsewhere. Just food for thought.
Ok.. that is one opinion. As good as the one that likes it. There is one sentence on business. "The path to failure is try to satisfy everyone". Sorry but I like that rain. It is better than nothing. Of course if I find ways to making better I will do. Always. But for now there are more important things to do on CRJ than that, and one is end it! thanks anyway.
While I agree that gimmicky things, poorly implemented are not cool, I think Japo did a nice job with this. The rain effect creates a nice atmosphere. It it is strange that the rain re-appears on the windows though.
You're missing the point, the reason this is big is because it's the first time it's been done for XP, besides yeah there's a few little details that aren't right but who cares it looks beautiful and I'm sure Javier will tune everything to be perfect for release considering Javier doesn't release a product unless it's 1000000% finished! @Japo32 Well rain or not. This is going to be great plane. Japo, I'm amazed at the direction you take your planes. Our (x-plane) flight models are great but yet most of the time we lack the knowledge to enhance the ear and eye candy and with every plane you develop I'm amazed. Keep up the awesome work. The way you're going about it is last century and is the reason we're in this financial mess right now. Modern companies that want to succeed listen very carefully to customer input and build their products, to an extent, according to what their customers request. I have seen how PMDG simulates ice on windows. Here on this CRJ will be better. It is better for smoothing it. Yes it will have.
About x-plane and graphics. If you compare the default fsx or fs9 with x-plane, fsx is a little better than x-plane. Only a little. Trully believe me. Of course. If you compare fsx with addoms.. that is outstanding. But wait to see x-plane comming developers. Here is a little probe of it. I am making a plane and it is possible to do many things.

They flick because that is part of performance programming.. At the end they will be as the pilot ones.. but for now Anton is concentrating on other places to program.

One issue I found is the wipers primarily did a good job but when they came back up the rain drops appeared behind them again.
