Thanks for posting. My 16 year old son lost his leg to cancer, seeing this was an insparation to go out and try. We will be going to buy skates tomorrow. He has had his new leg for about 8 months now. took a year to get a good fit now this one works for him, can't wait to see him back on the ice.

@cavebear1000 hey. im an amputee too and was wonderig about ice skating. how did it work out for your son? is he above the knee or below?

There's XT9 knee for those purposes now. Maybe there's a reason to try it out.
