u got lucky on the ''the roof is on fire'' and ''mambo #5'' its was a fast kill switch to both songs but u got the crowd moving soo its good but just try to mix them next time
Another great party. Being from Hamilton I wanna say that this was at Michaelangelo's on Upper Gage Ave. Am I right? Anyways Vinnie where are you based out of?
Wow, you've never seen this video? This wedding was THE Wedding of the Yeay 2008, without question. The look, sound and the Energy from the crowd was amazing! From start to finish, everything went smoothly and people partied all night. In fact, the hall wanted to kick me out and I got into a little argument because I was going overtime.
So, my good buddy and DJ friend Matt Findlay helped me set-up, tear down and DJed, while I MCed.
Today, I'm doing a BarMitzvah with Matt's help. I'll tape it
Hey thanks brotha, I gotta tell you, it didn't just go together without a hitch? We stood there for 15 minutes trying to decide the best way to set up this rig without taking away from the rest of the Head table's decorations. My buddy, Matt & I finally decided on spreading it out, hiding the 2-Massive double 18" bins and amp rack behind the stage, behind the Head table. So really, all you saw was the Mac-250 towers & speakers. Who wants to see the Bins anyway? This is my best set-up, this year.
Awesome video, awesome setup, awesome light show. Overall.. awesome! lol I can't believe the diversity of the crowd and music and seems like they danced to it all. Great job. I would probably make a small suggestion, I think the towers for the Mac 250's would've looked better with the LED par can on the inside, it would make the tower glow as opposed to lighting it up. =) Great vid.
So far, it's my favourite set-up of the Year. When we got there, the Head table already looked beautifully draped and all, and we tried not to take anything away from it's look? We took our time and thought it out and finally decided on spreading out the Lighting and speakers on either side of the Head table, burying the Bins and amps behind the stage's curtains. I have to admit, it did look awesome, the Bride was awestruck! She said to me, "Is that All You?" I've heard that before ... LOL
Thank you brother, that means a lot coming from you, 'cause I admire your stuff. That white glove/blacklight idea is smart, I've never seen that before. And you're interactive stuff cannot be duplicated.
Like I said before, You Da Man, Zooma!
Hope you got that fender-bender all straightened out?
He travels with me from Gig to Gig... LOL. Actually, the old timer is the Bride's "Nonno" Grandfather and asked to play? He was a Hit! Although not many people danced to him, they were entertained all the same. And it provided a break for us, while we chowed down on dessert, yummy! Thanks for the nice comments, Producer.
lights are so fucking expensive eaven the cheap american dj moving heads are overprice, you have megawatts and eaven more megabucks..lol

Can't beat MACs. Are those Entours or Kryptons?
LightRig 3 years ago
They're Entours.
For a Big Rig, they're all I'm using lately.
I also use the mini-Macs for smaller packages or venues. Have a look at my video entitled "Mobile DJ Gig - July 26, 2008".
Thanks for watching and commenting.
