  • Very Nice...Just wondering why you didn't put the the LED Cans inside the the trussing for the moving heads.

  • Wow, you've never seen this video? This wedding was THE Wedding of the Yeay 2008, without question. The look, sound and the Energy from the crowd was amazing! From start to finish, everything went smoothly and people partied all night. In fact, the hall wanted to kick me out and I got into a little argument because I was going overtime.

So, my good buddy and DJ friend Matt Findlay helped me set-up, tear down and DJed, while I MCed.

Today, I'm doing a BarMitzvah with Matt's help. I'll tape it

  • Clean setup thanks for posting

  • Great ideas, nice-looking setup!

    Wonderfull!

  • nice presentation on the lights at the start.

    thumbs up!!

  • thats how you dj a wedding top effort man like your presentation to the socks and shit nice mate top marks best wedding i seen yet.

  • Thanks for the nice comments.

I;ve got several more "Platinum packages" booked this year, stayed tuned.

  • since we are commenting i dont really like the look of the drape thats covering the stand that the speakers are on

  • Can't beat MACs. Are those Entours or Kryptons?

  • They're Entours.

For a Big Rig, they're all I'm using lately.

I also use the mini-Macs for smaller packages or venues. Have a look at my video entitled "Mobile DJ Gig - July 26, 2008".

    Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • Right On! Hahah Very NIceee.

  • Great video. Very nice set up. You said that you took your time with the set up and it shows. First class job.

  • you have the most amazing setup i have ever seen and im not just talking in size but also the way that it is all setup OMG

  • Hey thanks brotha, I gotta tell you, it didn't just go together without a hitch? We stood there for 15 minutes trying to decide the best way to set up this rig without taking away from the rest of the Head table's decorations. My buddy, Matt & I finally decided on spreading it out, hiding the 2-Massive double 18" bins and amp rack behind the stage, behind the Head table. So really, all you saw was the Mac-250 towers & speakers. Who wants to see the Bins anyway? This is my best set-up, this year.

  • Awesome video, awesome setup, awesome light show. Overall.. awesome! lol I can't believe the diversity of the crowd and music and seems like they danced to it all. Great job. I would probably make a small suggestion, I think the towers for the Mac 250's would've looked better with the LED par can on the inside, it would make the tower glow as opposed to lighting it up. =) Great vid.

  • Hey odavila78, thanks for the nice comments and suggestion. I've tried the Par on the inside as well, they look awesome both ways.

    - Keep watching

  • This guy really knows his stuff, 5 stars.....

  • omg that setup is soo awesome

  • So far, it's my favourite set-up of the Year. When we got there, the Head table already looked beautifully draped and all, and we tried not to take anything away from it's look? We took our time and thought it out and finally decided on spreading out the Lighting and speakers on either side of the Head table, burying the Bins and amps behind the stage's curtains. I have to admit, it did look awesome, the Bride was awestruck! She said to me, "Is that All You?" I've heard that before ... LOL

  • whwre do you get those white sleeves to cover your truss

  • cant beat discharge moving heads...

  • awesome man u got some nice stuff. good vid keep them comin!!

    keep it rockin!

    zooma

  • Thank you brother, that means a lot coming from you, 'cause I admire your stuff. That white glove/blacklight idea is smart, I've never seen that before. And you're interactive stuff cannot be duplicated.

Like I said before, You Da Man, Zooma!

Hope you got that fender-bender all straightened out?

    Cheers, VinnieVegas

  • Thanks, brutha ... I'm a huge fan of your videos too, bro. Love your Interactive with the Crowd. Keep it Rockin'

Shout out from the T-Dot, Toronto, Canada.

  • Yes I often find that having an accordian player "makes a wedding"...........only kiddin' lol, Great video as always buddy :)

  • He travels with me from Gig to Gig... LOL. Actually, the old timer is the Bride's "Nonno" Grandfather and asked to play? He was a Hit! Although not many people danced to him, they were entertained all the same. And it provided a break for us, while we chowed down on dessert, yummy! Thanks for the nice comments, Producer.

  • those martin lights are on my xmas list!!!

gotta luv the power of the cha-cha slide...

    ;-)

  • nice one on the cha cha slide lol
