is the texture of foil, cardboard n tooth the same? how can the demo be right? chemicals act differently on different materials. i saw a pre wash demo on foil but actually on a shirt cuff it did not work. so better show on wht materials they work rather than a useless foil n cardboard

I'm not sure i understand this Demo... what is the material you are rubbing the toothpastes into? I figure a good thing to do would be to take Glister, Crest, Colgate, and a couple other brands to an actual Dentist and ask him which is better and why. Then you can use his credibility.

Are you kiddin' me? At the time i was using Glister my teeth were in the worst condition, it hurt and were very sensitive. It has something in it's consistence that damages the teeth slowly but surely, and it is hard to repair the damage done - and that's my wallet talking after visits to dentist's thanks to Glister!

...Doesn't the effect of abrasion mean the toothpaste is actually working? Toothpaste by its nature needs to be abrasive to work, meaning the color WILL CHANGE when you rub it on a colored surface as it will grind off a layer.

@JustJobeMY Yes, those three brands do the work,cleaning your teeth and WEARING OUT your tooth enamel. Even the foil was worn out in a few rubs, don't even think about your teeth in the next 10 or 20 years (if you do brush everyday).

How about cleaning while saving your beloved teeth? how about investing a little to save a lot on dental cost? Think about it, the choice is yours :)

Less abrasive the better?

The whole purpose of toothpaste is to provide an abrasive solution to grind down dental plaque which cannot removed without abrasion or specialized tools.

If you choose to use the path that feels that less abrasion the better...why not just use mouthwash and mild toothbrush daily instead, then increase frequency to your dentist to remove the plaque.

There is no benefit in just the reducing abrasiveness so you can have a nice demo on video. sigh*

@leirbag0707 yo tambien quiero saber pero lo hice en el aluminio y no vi la diferencia, en el cd se ve mas claro los resultados pero tambien poniendo una pequena porcion de las pasta en el dedo indice de la persona y se siente la diferencia al instante, otra es darle a probar la pasta glister y que ellos vean que la menta no es tan fuerte, otro es pedirle que se cepille los dientes durante una prueba y despues que se tome algo ya sea soda y sentira el sabor inmediato, no como otras pasta.
