According to IMDb, she lived to be 100, and died in 1997. If she was 90 when she appeared in this ad, it would've been in 1987. I do remember seeing this ad back in the 80's, it could've been reused after Hardee's bought Roy's.
This wasn't from the 1980s. It carries a copyright which mentions Hardee's, and they didn't take over Roy's until 1990.
In fact, right after Hardee's took over Roy's, they changed all the Roy's stores over to Hardee's, which didn't last long. Customers started a huge revolt, and Hardees had to change the old Roy's stores back - and re-win customer loyalty!
That old lady was in Parenthood. She was in The Twilight Zone movie too.I think Roy Rogers chicken was sold at Hardees too at one time. I know it was very good. But NC stopped selling fried chicken at Hardees. I think Roy Rogers and Hardees combined together. Hardees also used to sell roast beef sandwiches, they were delicious and they quit selling them here too.
Same here and it seems like its only a matter of time before they shut that one down, I believe there is another small one at the rest area on the turn pike from valley forge towards harrisburg

That's the only one I found. I remember going to a Roy Rogers 10-something odd years ago.

Roys has some of the best fried chicken! Sadly, I have to go to another county to get to the nearest Roys. :(
