if i was you, i would just forget about auto snipes and use bolt action, and learn to quick switch..

thats what i do and i pwn...

your accurate with your shots, so you would not have a problem with 1 hit kill

Why would I want to kill people slower?

I would say that 70% of my kills are headshots, and with a sniper that goes up to 95%,

So why would I want to have to reload to get a headshot? When I can just keep racking them off with one shot after another without breaking sight on the enemy?

Indeed I am, I got BF 1943 a few days ago, and i'm happy to say that i'm still lucky and good ( =P ) at the game so i will try to make montages from that.

I'm going to upload them twice, once with music and once without, just to please both crowds and to get round the music censoring stuff on here.

I am gunna start recording tonight, so they should be up in a few weeks hopefully if i get enough good footage.

I went through a phase of using the VSS, just cos it looks cool, then i started using the QBU,

Which is the best sniper by a long way for the following reasons,

- Its a single headshot kill,

- It has 10 rounds (much more than the bolt action guns)

- You dont have to reload between each shots, so if you are good like me ( =P ) you can just go from headshot to headshot, without having the gameplay broken by having to reload, keeping your eyes on the targets.

i love the fact that your addicted to the Xm8 in every form. its my favorite gun in the game but i cant stand it as an LMG or SMG. that why i use the m60/mg36 and the ump alot to but the Xm8 is by far the best auto weapon

Man, half the people you shoot you would not even know were there if it wasn't for the totally awful red names above there head. It is just stupid how that show up when they are behind cover, hell its stupid to show up at all! its one of the reasons I sold this game 3 days after purchase. One thing I have to admit is the exploding buildings was a nice touch.

Thats probably true, but most games have some sort of identification thing for enemies. COD has its UAV thing, this just implements it better because the map is 3D so you know if the enemies are elevated in buildings and things, and showing the icons above their heads its just another step.

They only show up if they have been seen (for a few secods) or been shot or if they've been locate by the snipers' radar ball thing. So its ok that they only show up if people already know where they are.

And if something so petty makes you not want to play such a great game, they go back to CoD or Halo or whatever - you won't be missed.

Enjoy firing a grenade/rocket launcher at a guy behind a thin wall and not doing any damage to him, we don't have that problem.

These games are meant to be 'realistic' and Red name plates are just ugly and arcade like, it shows up if your looking in the direction of the enemy as well as, like you said, if they shoot. That is just stupid, cod "dot" system at only shows up for one second unlike this "Plate" system. And Cod has hardcore where the dots only show up if you have UAV so there is something for everyone. I feel like this is a big flaw in the BF series and needs to be worked on, I don't think I'm being petty.

Without those red names you will get tons of snipers hiding in bushes and never being located...Same thing for all other campers out there. This game promotes movement and working together, those guys he shot in the back were either camping or not paying attention...their fault. Without the red plates this game would just be like hide and seek.

u know if u dont kill with m24 like u shoot and see enemy solder u can take the pistol and shoot him even if he is miles away. iexplit i got skill level 15 in rank 25

Yep, if you don't kill the dude with one sniper shot, change to the pistol and fire off a few rounds and you will probably kill him before he moves away or realises he's been hit.
