  • Duuuuuude how did I get here?

  • most King movie adaptations blow chunks.... Shawshank, Misery, Shining are the exceptions.

  • So glad this fab George A. Romero/Stephen King collaboration is still up.

The other great movie they both worked on is Creepshow. Shame they aren't still working together these days. Creepshow 2 was a decent enough movie but the third one should be thrown on a bonfire as it is one of the worse horror movies (if you could call it that) I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of shit in my day.

Anyway, cheers for the upload, my man.

  • When your fuckin' with me, your fuckin' with the best! - Alexis Machine

  • LOL, the nurse is retarded.

  • That nurse is a perfect example of bad acting! Look at her pretended expression 4:15 lol, couldn't handle the adequate response to the situation as to express astonishment, horror, fear-panic or whatever you can name it in this context. The book is great, the movie isn't that bad as a whole, but the acting personnel should've been more carefully sorted out. "The sparrows are flying again"

  • One high tuned son of a bitch

  • i've just started reading the book of this

  • The scariest horror book ever published is 'Thirteen Volume One' by Andrew Hannon.

    Google it.

  • Is this guy from five days till midnight? Is his name Kevin Klein or are they similar people ?

  • @youtubfool i think youre comparing to the actor here timothy hutton. it's not kevin kline.

  • I almost devoured it

  • uff it reminds me of my days as a student....great book!!

  • The eye was over the top, just too silly, unlike the book

  • hey guys, It's only the eye of one's mind!!!!!

  • is his wife a dude?

  • was is it about?

  • i thought george romereo was a zombie wtf??

  • Sht HILLARY, you just saw a eye ball in a man's brain, remember where the fuck you are!

  • Awesome Movie

  • Timothy Hutton's hair alone should win an Oscar.

  • @SharksKid he looks hot in this flick

  • Stephen King as a child?

  • @d3221ck

Partially, perhaps. A lot of his books are about authors from Maine, lol.

  • the babies are soooooooooooo cute

  • thank so mutch for uploading this movie

  • yeah its fine, ecspecialy if you have to move a fourth of the brain. (:

  • ...ofcourse..so fucking out-of-the-order to freak out when you see a fucking eye ball blinking in someone's brain,,,,

  • 02:54

She was in Malcolm in the Middle and Donnie Darko. It's about time she played a role where she wasn't a bitch xD

  • this movie looks like its from the 60's wtf? And that eye was fucking creepy, esp when it started blinking! AHHHHHHHHHHHh

  • part of a nostril, some teeth, act natural

there's nothing weird about this at all

  • "Hmm one of the teeth has a small cavity" LOL wtf

  • George A. Romeo what that fuck

  • You might also like the works of J. Richard Singleton:

  • Baby Birkin!

  • Hey....@2:30!!! It's the teacher from Child's Play 2 that chucky whooped with a ruler...she deserved it. she was a b**ch....I'm a fan of Stephen King, and never recall seeing or reading this story/book. Should be interesting.

  • wow... fetus in fetu? ._.UUU not gonna see one of my favourite medical curiosities the same anymore. ._.U

  • wow romero directed it i guess im going to have to watch it now

  • I'm 18 years late... but....

    hope it's good

    :)

  • There was something like this on TV but it was a mouth instead of an eyeball found in the man's chest.

  • This is a quote straight from Stephen King's novel, The Dark Half:

"And, as an afterthought, he added pleasantly to the O.R. nurse:

"'I want that silly cunt who ran out of here fired. Make a note, please.'

    "'Yes, Doctor.'"

Should've been in the movie, that's all I have to say.

  • the mom in this was also in one of the chucky movies, little miss sunshine, and an episode of golden girls ha. very underated in my opinion. also as a paramedic I have seen a number of gross things and dissected several brains while they were still in people's heads and even though twins sometimes are absorbed into other twins I think hilary's reaction was not so bad. I mean the eye winked, gore doesn't bother me but I would be taken aback too. and @1059lisa you are one cool ass eight year old.

  • why did stephen kings of horror...dont make videos anymore!!

  • birdy namnam

  • oh god! its Birds all over again!!!

  • @BaraBara8675309 Haha...good one.

  • For crying out loud, woman - it's only the top of a brain.

  • Fuck me, someone fire that nurse >.<

  • im 8 years old and i already like it

  • I just finished the novel. George Stark is so badass.

  • 05:12

    HOW DID SHE GET THERE!?!?!

  • Oh...I read the novel it's based on a while back. Not that great imo.

  • Good old time in 1968, when kids were taught how to write in cursive... We are still being taught though in Europe.

  • @blondecat666 they teach us how to write in cursive in the states

  • @blondecat666 They never taught us cursive in the UK where I lived.

  • @klm4298 Well, they still do in Hungary...

  • @klm4298 i remember learning cursive in 2nd grade...but idk if they still teach it in america lol

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH an EYE BALL In tha brain ! XD ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahah

  • THE SPARROWS ARE FLYING AGAIN

  • Handsome Timothy Huttton!!!

I remember having some steamy "fun" in the nearly empty theater where I saw this film!!!

    Quite good anyway!!!

  • 4:00 "Stain your seats! Stain your seats!"

  • Very cool Horror/Thriller movie with interesting storyline and shocking death scenes. Timothy Hutton showed brilliant acting playing 2 characters - good & evil. Amy Madigan and Michael Rooker were great too. Stephen King is real master with his unique novels. I really miss the 90's

  • Isn't that women from Donnie Darko...?

    ...SHE IS ARGH

    i hate this movie already>_>

  • one of my favorite movies man

  • 808 Lana, make sure to get the book On Writing that he wrote (I listened to it on audio)

it will really offer you the truth about writing being mainly about the work and how ideas come from your own past.

  • 0:00 - 0:05 that's funny, considering this is Youtube

  • @DictatorRoB It`s a movie.

  • "Hillary, remeber where you are"

"Oh, sorry, you're right, it's just a FREAKING EYEBALL IN THE KID'S BRAIN!! How completely over-the-top my response was!"

  • @Wormtail96 i always loved that part too

  • @Wormtail96 "Your a professional, nurse. Act like it. Besides we saw an ear in another kid just last week." lol

  • its better in book.

  • 4:28 lol at the total overreaction

  • I loved this movie. Romero did a great job here.

  • I'm glad this has Been modified for my television :P

  • @ 5:50-6:13 Time to get da shotgun!

  • It's damn near impossile to make me cringe, but that surgery made my head turn 60 degrees and go "geeahh"...

    that was great!

    The lecture was great too.

  • what aa spaz 4:30

  • CAN ANYONE ELSE SAY STEPHEN KING YOUR A FUCKING GENIUS

  • @triste18ful A Stephen King and George A. Romero team effort says genius, imagination and originality. Look at Creepshow. Brilliant.

  • @triste18ful I can Stephen King your a fucking genius!!!!!

And all hail the master of horror

  • @ang5523 thank you i read all his books and can not only frighten but enter your mind and hit you where you scare most

  • I think this is the first story I've read that makes horror out of a fetus in fetu abnormality. It's a terrific idea.

  • love stephen king :)

  • "Hillary, remeber where u are" ... but there's a damn eyeball in his brain!!

  • @jonty811 Hell yeah! And it's alive! Tumour my arse.

  • one of my fave stephen king novels

  • Lots of weird things happen in castle Rock? LOL

  • I've read this book and now I'm gonna watch the movie..I hope it turns out just the way I imagine XD

  • how the hell is that lady gonna gag when she works at a hospital

  • Stephen King rocks

  • Talk about your third eye huh?

  • doctor's glasses are cool !

  • What's this movie about? (Yes, I know I could totally just look this up on google but I am far too lazy to do something like that) :)

  • who fuck names their kid thaddius, what are we living in ancient rome?

  • @66jesko how dare people give their own children names with character, instead of naming them bob, susan, peter nr 2130698413127671923719 in class

also, fuck you for not realizing all names have som ancient roots.

    asswipe

  • Brain eyeballs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • An eye in the brain! HARDCORE!!!

  • Wait, I just stumbled on this. Is that George A. Romero THE George A. Romero?

  • That brain surgery scene is gold. The utterly bored doctor coupled with the nurse who's in totally wrong profession... lol!

  • 5:50 OMG it's the birds......

  • Kinda reminds me of ummm...American Physcho with Christian Bale.

    But this story is fantasic.

  • damn clawson even looks like a "creepazoid"

  • is this the young steven king?

  • I remember when I read this book and as soon as I put it down, a sparrow flew into my bedroom window, and I screamed. xD

Who here's read UNDER THE DOME yet? I just love it. That thing needs to be a movie RIGHT NOW!

  • @MJGuardianAngelFan i so agree!!! one of my faves next to insomnia and needful things!

  • 1992 I belive not 1993

  • From the master of horror.

  • when I came on this video in my search box it says I typed "Elvis Presley" now I don't know who or what that is, can someone please explain?

  • @RadioRock97

    It means you are gay.

  • @RadioRock97 The song

  • did not care for timothy hutton as thad,he is a good actor and this is a good movie, just not sure about hutton for this role.

  • its an amazing novel!!stephen king is a man of genius!!

  • Gotta love the combined talents of Stephen King and George Romero. This is one of the best King adaptations, other greats - Christine, (Kubrick's) Shining, The Mist, Stand by Me, etc...

  • 1:09:50 #LOL

  • I love Stephen King's books and have read most of them but I must admit he's a bit messed up haha.

  • @dandaman2011 I think you NEED to be to write horror lol

  • I really love stephen king, but has anyone noticed how similar The Dark Half is to Secret Winfow

  • thanks for this.

  • 10:11 Stephen King?

  • @Vanhalenarmy5150 From this film's IMDb trivia page:

When he is confronted by a class member to sign the book written by his pen-name, he declines, and claims it's not his book. The photo on the back of the book is, in fact, Stephen King himself.

  • Bag of Bones is well worth a look....creepy.

  • Hey guys- you should check this factoid out.

Did you guys know that The Dead Zone, Cujo, The Tommknockers, The Dark Half and Needful Things all follow one another as a series?? To think that Alan Pangborn all along ends up as the main character, got me there it did!

  • love the book. looks like like the movie, too :)

  • love this movie!!!

  • misery is the best stephen king book ive read so good in fact i finished it in 3 days. i was so addicted. but i also like insomnia and the shining

  • bueno de muvico gratis

  • I'm addicted to Stephen King's books. The only major ones I haven't read are Cell, Hearts in Atlantis, Everythings Eventual, Blaze, Desperation, and Regulators.

  • desperation is wicked, i loved it

  • @Ilikepie1ism desperation was good you should read that next

  • i also recommend desperation

  • @Ilikepie1ism Insomnia's a great, looong book!

  • make sure cell is your next one!!!!

  • Hearts in Atlantis surpassed The Stand and The Shining as my favorite S.K.

Do yourself a favor and read it asap

  • @Ilikepie1ism-CELL is a MUST to read. I've read it almost Four times now...it's absolutely, brilliantly disturbing! Once you've read it, you'll never look at another Cellphone the same ;)

  • @OnyxWildcat Since reading it, I've only ever sent text messages. Fudging terrifying.

  • @TsukiyoAndAsahi LOL I know what you mean...I'm a little put off by my phone now. >.<

  • @Ilikepie1ism desperation is a brilliant read....my favourite has to be insomnia

  • @crucko1 my favorite has to be 'Pulse'... I love it!

  • @Ilikepie1ism Regulators is King in kick-ass mode, i loved it but read it before Desperation and was kinda sad he flipped the character of the cop (Collie i think). In Regulators he was a stand out character for me.

  • @Ilikepie1ism you need to really read cell dude

  • @Ilikepie1ism

Hearts in Atlantis is hardly worth reading, but Desperation is among my favorites :)

  • @Ilikepie1ism You will love all of those. One piece of advice...read Desperation followed immediately by reading the Regulators. They are intertwined and you will be blown away by his/their (King/Straub) brilliance. Have you read "The Long Walk"? Also very good by "Richard Bachman".

  • @Ilikepie1ism desperation is really good

  • @Ilikepie1ism cell is a must!!!

  • @Ilikepie1ism Cell is great it could be a prequel to The Road by Cormac McCarthy.I liked Regulators better than Desperation but both are good. I wish they would make a movie of Regulators

  • @Ilikepie1ism you have to read "Under the Dome"? Mr. King has never let me down- Desperation and Cell were great, and am always looking for more- Viva la KING! lol

  • @Ilikepie1ism Cell, Desperation & Regulators are perfect too.

  • @Ilikepie1ism Cell and Blaze are my personal favorites on that list. Desperation is a good one too. now the BEST one (in my opinion) would definately be It.

  • @boredashell1234567 same it was the first stephen king book i read and is by far my favorite

  • @Howlngwolff haha i started reading that one when i was in like 4th grade. it was the first one i actually finished haha i had a short attention span. still do =]

  • One more thing, this "lecture" the main character gives around 9:07 to students on creative writing- well, since it's a King excert/self insert, it's really just basically stephen king giving a class for free on here, so I'm paying attention and trying to learn about creative writing:) Great movie + a free class!! Can't beat that! I love when the teacher said (in regards to fiction), "Give it the car keys and let it ride!"

  • Yeah, it's great advice.

  • @808Lana What.?

  • @808Lana For some reason i cannot go to your channel and reply to your comments you left on my page Lana. It keeps saying "This channel is not available."

  • um, this is a self-inserted character of Stephen King. This character is him prior to publishing Carrie in the early 70's (english teacher by day, struggling writer by night, father with a young family).

  • my fave movie right now.

  • High toned son of a bitch. LOL.

  • The kid would not get sick if Elvis was not blar blahing in the film...

  • This is freaking me out. I'm halfway done where the girl runs out of the Er.

  • omg george a romero?

    this gotta be guuuud

  • Thanks for posting! you made my night

  • I am addicted to Stephen King's novels and, movies.

  • thx 4 uploading

  • I had this on a VHS double cassette. The other movie was Sleepwalkers, which had a Stephen King cameo. (he plays the caretaker of the cemetary )

  • you can buy this movie in a stephen king box set, I bought it pretty cheap at wal-mart. It has this movie, carrie and misery I think is what it had.

  • @Kelthuzad126 you can also download every stephen king movie ever made from all good torrent sites, also every stephen king book in pdf format. beats wal-mart.

  • Also screws up your computer so you have to buy a new one, which is a lot more expensive than a box set I am sure. But if you have a good virus detector go for it.

  • well, my computer is still going strong after 8 years. you sound like you are talking from experience there about screwing up your own computer maybe!? all you got to do is know what to look out for thats all. pdf and avi files are 100% safe and opened in a VM they are even safer lol. i wouldnt be buying a new computer either after a virus, thats just stupid.

  • Trust me, def talking from experience. I destroyed 2 PC's, Have a mac now, I don't do torrent stuff or anything anymore. I just go to ovguide if I wanna watch a free movie. Since I am in college I can't afford to have my computer screwed up, plus because the network is connected you can end up screwing up other ppl's comps on campus. You may know how to deal with viruses, but other ppl can really eff up their computers.

  • ovguide seems like an okay site,, its got a few bad reviews alright. i suppose just dont click on any links there and block all the pop ups and you're grand. well, i love all the stephen king books so too download everything he has ever written was great for me. can't beat reading them from paper though so i have a neo speech reader(text to speech) to read them for me. saves the eyes from burning and the brain from swelling lol

  • Haha, cool...yea I never read any Stephen king except for Carrie and after that book I feel in love with him and watched a lot of his movies. I always wanted to invest in some text to speech reader...

  • @Xinoutorah So get some anti-virus, or look at less porn. Viruses are super easy to deal with these days.
