This is why American animators need to keep their hands off of Japanese properties. The live action Speed Racer movie got a pass from me because the Wachowskis are otaku and therefore know what the hell they're doing. But this is a lazy cash-in.

Despite using flash, they could've made the movements smoother frame by frame. I mean, if you're going to at least animate something that has characters based off of an anime series, animate it by Classic 2D animation(Drawn by hand). How the arms move, it's like about 2-3 frames which normally takes 6-10 frames to move slowly. Faster movement looks depends on how much frames and how you draw them.

Besides that, their 3D animation is not mixing in. They should at least use cel-shade 3D type.
