@toystalker420 Yeah now you can't even see an enemy chasing you. It would scare me when the nemesis chased me and he was coming up close to hitting me. The idea of having guys with spears and axes and throwing hits at you isn't scary. I don't have a problem with the gameplay since I'm good at it, but also the idea of throwing kicks and punches at enemies makes it less scary too.

@gorillaz242 You will get some different things playing each separately. Chris meets Rebecca Chambers and Jill doesn't but there really isn't a difference in the end. In the other REs that followed they rarely make any specific references to this one. Still the scariest one to play though. (if you can play the RE1 remake on GameCube, play that one instead)

This was an amazing game that made me buy a PS. Along with Twisted Metal 2. My cousin and I rented a PS and these 2 games, we didn't know you needed a memory card and didn't have one, so we played Resident Evil non stop for 36 hours before renting a memory card and shutting off the machine. This is a classic PS game. My favorite PS game of all time. Metal Gear is a close second.

The only thing i have to say about this review is one guy speaks absolute sense and the other is speaking complete bullshit. The guy which ever one it is, who claims to like resident evil 4 because of checkpoints and dislikes resident evil 1 because it takes more ammo to take down zombies, you my friend are not a true fan of survival horror and you should go back to your pussy shoot em ups. Survival horror is NOT about killing as many zombies as you can and if you die restart from a checkpoint.
