I'm not interested in skimming through the bible to find a verse on firearms. There isn't any. They didn't exist. However Luke 22:36 is an interesting verse. I'm not religious myself, but I do believe (as well as the majority of others) that a woman who is raped and strangled is NOT morally superior to a woman who has a smoking gun and a dead rapist at her feet. The problem is that only 60% of the people want an actual border built. We only have fences in certain locations. Many people sneek across our border every day. Then our social structure is overloaded. Schools are overwhelmed, hospitals have closed(anchor babies). Mexican officails hand out maps to get them across our border. They want to influence our system.

Many of these folks have a different way of life, corruption etc. You can't just assume they will assimilate automatically. Actually since the new gun control laws were passed here in the 90's, our violent crime rates went up compared to the US. If you look at other countries with strict gun control laws, like England and Australia, crime have actually risen horrendously. Not only are gun control laws making society worse off, they intrude on our civil liberties, something you swedes don't understand.
