People, if ever in doubt look to nature. The fluoride they add to water should not be there. It is not naturally occurring. Forget about the so-called health benefits or the health hazards for that matter; And instead be demanding access to clean, pure, (unadulterated) water. I honestly do want to take action about this and get my city to remove fluoride from the water supply. But it won't be easy. I'm only one person and I'm no scientist but based on the independent research I've done I've concluded the fluoride they add to the water has to be worse for you than if they didn't add it at all....especially if it's true that it's a by-product of the fertilizer industry. It just angers me too much to think that they're doing this and thinking it's good for people.

Whether or not fluoride is harmful is important but there is another very important issue. Do you give the government permission to put drugs, poison or anything else that is questionable in your water? How about putting stuff in your food? Is that OK too? Something is wrong for sure. Everything is toxic, including water - it's always a question of dosage. Fluoride at low doses has significant benefits, and fluoride at high doses is indeed harmful (hence the warnings on fluoridated toothpaste).

Think about this logically. Yes, the amounts we have in our water is very small. But just because it's small doesn't mean it's not harmful. You're not going to see tens of millions of people getting fluoride poisoning at once....it's something that's going to harm you slowly....over time. I went into Lowe's to find a water filter and all the of them didn't filter Flouride. In fact, one even stated that it didn't filter the "Benificial Flouride". How sick is that?

Sodium Fluoride derived from the factories waste products is the evil purported. Fluoride itself, as in not "Sodium Fluoride" is found in aquifers in a lot of places, its natural, just as is arsenic and rhodium, to a degree. Berkey water filters can filter Fluoride out of any water.
Well the thing is there are different conditions of pipe that hold water for different areas of the country. If you are going to say get rid of fluoride you have to show us a better solution for killing bacteria. Some pipes have leaks some pipes are made from iron, some from copper, some have leaks etc.. I will never drink unfiltered tap water but why not leave the choice in the consumers hands by letting them put chlorine filters on their taps and inform them with commercials.

The more government tries to push toxins, allow chemicals in water and foods the unhealthier people become today. People, if ever in doubt look to nature. The fluoride they add to water should not be there. It is not naturally occurring. Forget about the so-called health benefits or the health hazards for that matter; And instead be demanding access to clean, pure, (unadulterated) water. Ask yourself; Do you really want your water interfered with? And do you really want government bodies making that decision for you? I think everyone will agree the answer is "No" i.e. water fluoridation = no.

I honestly do want to take action about this and get my city to remove fluoride from the water supply. But it won't be easy. I'm only one person and I'm no scientist but based on the independent research I've done I've concluded the fluoride they add to the water has to be worse for you than if they didn't add it at all....especially if it's true that it's a by-product of the fertilizer industry. It just angers me too much to think that they're doing this and thinking it's good for people.

Whether or not fluoride is harmful is important but there is another very important issue. Do you give the government permission to put drugs, poison or anything else that is questionable in your water? How about putting stuff in your food? Is that OK too? Something is wrong for sure. Look how the number of illiterate people has exploded. Persuasive, and I'm sure he's sincere. The catch is, he's making all sorts of claims that don't actually seem to be supported by evidence. Lots of claims about negative health effects (mostly unsupported), and nothing about the established benefits.
Anyone who actually wants a reality-based understanding of fluoridation, this isn't it. Start with Wiki:Water_fluoridation, and research as thoroughly as you like - Connett's rhetoric has its place, but it is not reliable.

Everything is toxic, including water - it's always a question of dosage. Fluoride at low doses has significant benefits, and fluoride at high doses is indeed harmful (hence the warnings on fluoridated toothpaste).
Seriously, read the Wikipedia article. Check the references for any parts you disagree with, but at least hear both sides.

2. Show me solid evidence that low levels of fluoride damage other systems in the body. I have found none.

I just looked through the first 5 pages of Google Scholar results for "fluoridation", and all I found was two 1997 pieces by one J Colqhoun on the fifth page - one lit review from "Fluoride Journal", and one opinion piece / conversion story from "Perspectives in biology and medicine".

Think about this logically. Yes, the amounts we have in our water is very small. But just because it's small doesn't mean it's not harmful. Let your water quality directors, head chemists or whoever determines the treatment and dosages know that THEY will be the ones held responsible when the shit hits the fan over purposely adding poisonous industrial waste to the water supply. Well the thing is there are different conditions of pipe that hold water for different areas of the country. If you are going to say get rid of fluoride you have to show us a better solution for killing bacteria. Some pipes have leaks some pipes are made from iron, some from copper, some have leaks etc.. I will never drink unfiltered tap water but why not leave the choice in the consumers hands by letting them put chlorine filters on their taps and inform them with commercials.

Why is fluoride added to the water?
Fluoride is added to the water to protect teeth, as required by state law passed in 1969. According to the American Dental Association, persons who drink fluoridated water have a 20% to 40% reduction in the number of cavities that would have occurred without fluoride. Some home filtration devices remove fluoride. Bottled water may not contain fluoride.(Greater Cincinnati Water Works) This sucks!

The more government tries to push toxins, allow chemicals in water and foods the unhealthier people become today. Our water today contains far too many chemicals and the industries that produce them tell us it is perfectly safe. All chemicals are perfectly safe. The body dies with industrial chemicals and any grade 5 student will know that. For the people that say mercury has been removed from vaccines- You Lie. The H1N1 from 2010 & all shots contain mercury.

@mkrassoc Actually (thankfully) fluoride is not passed through breast milk. Presumably because the body has built in a mechanism to protect the developing brain from this toxin. However, it does get passed to the baby when the mother is pregnant.

@xoaxotfreeus The level in breast milk is 0.004ppm. A very tiny amount. Bottle fed babies would get 1ppm or 0.7ppm if the level has been lowered. A six month old baby averages 1 ltr of milk a day therefore getting 0.7 mg or 1 mg per day. This is so outrageous that it is really hard to fathom how the so-called "health" authorities can think this is okay, and how so many people believe them.

"Guidance is particularly needed because fluoride is found in all natural waters at some concentration. Low concentrations are good for teeth, but excessive concentrations can lead to debilitating disease, such as skeletal fluorosis"

Most toothpaste today contains 0.32% (1450 ppm) fluoride.
If prozac is 94% flouride - thats a hell of alot at a super high concentration.

@jabberwolf the difference with salt, iodine, ect., is that there are certain things that are body uses to carry out functions: there necessary. Also think of accumulation its fine if we drink lower than the standard amount we're told is no good, but if something is an excitotoxin, neurotoxin, or any toxin that your body can get rid of levels in the body increase. This argument doesn't work when you have to much salt, sugar, ect, because are body will find use for it or get rid of it

Youtube is blocking, saying that only old Director's Accounts could do this and things have changed to 15mins max. My question is, HOW does ALEX still upload footage of over one hour? I have brand new film footage that needs to be loaded into Youtube - 21 clips varying from 12 minutes to 82 minutes long. I cannot load more than 15 minutes even with a Directors account. Suggestions? I have no way to load it into Youtube. This is control of net, content and truth. How does Paul load up footage now? Is this because he has an old Directors account? What about us newbies? Google videos is much poorer quality. Thank you in advanc for your assistance.

Fluoride increases all cancer. The fluoride from Phosphate production is full of many poisons. It's uptake is 25x that of natural calcium fluoride. The EPA approved this poison in water in 1981. I have a R.O. system in my house but that does not get rid or the Uranium. Cancer rates have gone from 1 in 50 to 1 in 3 in the U.S. It is a soft kill used for population control. IN MY OPINION.
