So far, from what i have played and seen, Taluva looks like the most convincing 3D game to me, both from the aspect of theme and mechanics. It looks like an island with settlements and volcanoes indeed. Btw, you said that the hight should be only 5, but you have put 6 blocks in the demo :)P
I like the cloth board and the fact that everything is in a bag. It makes the game look nice and light and easy to store & setup. There should be more games out there with boards made of cloth.
@T0rche I have one actually - Valley of the Pharaohs. It's a pretty neat game but THE CLOTH BOARD IS TERRIBLE! The folds in the board cause pawns to fall over and causes chips to (almost) become visible) all the time...

@T0rche there are many such games and even Tom's own game Vicious Fishes has a cloth board. Such games are released by Nestor Games.

The Components look cool, & it looks like a good filler. Pending on the price here in Canada, if it's under $35 then a possible pickup.
