I hate the lobster-like aliens. They take like 5 shots to kill, unless you have the drill weapon which can penetrate their armor and do a quick kill.

I used to play these when I was little and recently started playing the original X-COM again, I'm nearing the end now (have to kidnap an alien commander to find the location of their main base). I have my people trained in psi-ops but I completely forgot about building amps and mind-controlling the aliens, lol will have to do that. I was mostly training for the protection! Great games (hard though!), fun video. =))

Used to play tftd when i was less than 10 lol, i remember how i loved from the game the fact that its ambient was pure terror in a way, the game plays underwater after all. Damm i miss the Triton lol xD

@SD1612 Yeah I had that game killing bug. I NEVER beat this game as a kid. The other x-coms yeah, but not this. I had the oooold version, which meant bugs galore! Every mission after the first was reset to superhuman difficulty, and there were holes in the tech tree. I never did get MC Labs, or the new USOs.

But I just bought the collectors edition full of all the xcom games, so Im planning on going back and actually destroying T'Leth this time around!

Well showing the end movie of a game obviously means you want people to see it so there is no point playing the game. And that is an insult to any game, let alone a classic. As far as I am concerned no one who calls themselves a gamer would post the end movie to a game any more than a movie fan would post the closing scene of a movie or a book fan post the last chapter of a book! to do that means your not a fan at all. So I STILL stand by my statement.

The music destroys this video. Insult to a classic. Like putting a rap version over Dorothy singing Over the Rainbow in Wizard of Oz. Or dubbing Clarke Gable in Gone with the Wind to say 'see ya toots' as he leaves the mansion!

Best thing to do with aliens?

MC them, get them to throw you their weapons and arm that grenade they were about to lob at you for 0 turns. You get a shiny new gun and the alien goes KABOOM.

they stole it they didnt even own the source code thats what they told me i god hade a problem with the games actully it was dosbox i figured out later and they told be too goo too 2K Steam did and they told me too goo too steam later i found a post about dosbox and it worked but steam told me that they didnt have the source code just like 2K they are doing it iligal

i use to be able to play this in my pc i have xp along with ufo defense accop, etc now for some reason i cant . only in playstation

Steam (an online game distributing service) supposedly has a working version that uses Dosbox to emulate it properly.

Looks to me it's DOS. The PSX version has a lot better graphics AND sounds.
