Dude i seem to have somethiing like this for a while...say almost a year or more...its painfull and discomforting...cant find answers anywhere here in pakistan.Fucking cheap dermatologist medicines dont work.Plz tell me wat to do?

small note; I really think that there are a difference between furuncle and abscess, they aren't the same. Both are pus-filled cavities, however abscess is covered with a membrane and usually is more severe than a single furuncle which in most cases heal by itself.

a wise old VA doc once taught me

"piss and puss must come out"

zapping it with a sterile needle and keeping it covered with an antibiotic ointment such as over the counter neosporin would be a reasonable choice for a lot of people

if you see the doc, that is what he is gonna do anyway

I think that i have furuncles on my thigh but i dont know how to take care of it any info or do i just pop it or something

furuncles will usually be pretty large and very tender to the touch. the swollen area should be about the size of a silver dollar or maybe a quarter. i would get a doc to look at it. popping it might be really painful and it could get worsen by getting even more infected once you pop it.
