the Vmax is a much newer bike isn't it.This guys KZ is a 77' (fastest bike in it's class i think). I think Vmaxes came out in late 80's? The V's are powerfull....145hp at crank way back then as i remember.

if you want to do 200+ on public roads, be my guest. natural selection will weed you out. if you hit the track, no problem, but judging from your post you couldnt hold a line around a parking lot let alone around a track.

modern bikes dont require balls. just a handful of throttle and your off. let me see you push 150+mph on a K0-K4 CB750, then we will talk about balls.

do i baby her? hell no. i ride her harder than a cheap hooker. it takes balls to go 150 on a cb750. do it on a track; its not stupid... just a lot more ballsy than doing 150 on any modern bike

Both the KZ1000/900 and V-MAX are iconic bikes, neither is going to make the other look like a kids bike. Outright quickness is not critical but style is everything and both have the latter covered.
