  • Featuring bass player Mike D.

  • thank you Thom!

  • I really like this song, i heard it from the movie "Killshot" and is so calm.. and awesome.

  • YEAH! Fuck the monkey! Kill that little banana eating bastard like NOW!

  • god dammit this band is SO AWESOME!

  • Someone told me this song is about a man who is driven to violence upon learning of his wife's adulterous affair with an NBA player.

  • This song and video still gives me the chills...

  • I heard this song during a Mickey Rourke film, & I knew I had to watch the credits to find out who made this great song! Never heard of 'LOW' before, but I love this song! Thanx for uploading it. Excellent!

  • Evil Bassline......

  • I came here after watching Killshot movie....

  • Wow! Very cool. Honestly I came here after reading the comments on Robert Plant's Band of Joy version. I thought I'd check out this (not knowing the song before). Both versions are a treat for the senses. This is very powerful and haunting. Tonight I toast to Low and to the death of all of our monkies.

  • Monkey = Erinnerungen

  • I came to hear about "Low" through the Rolling Stones article on Robert Plant - I love this sound!

  • Crazy to say but i like Plant's versione more. sorry Low fans.

  • absolut amazing and wonderful Band!!!! Aesthetic, Harmony and Disharmony at the highest Level!!!!!

  • What a bleeding stormer! So gripping!!! This is not background music, is it?

    No way!

  • Kind of a haunting melody, and interesting drum-heavy sound; but what in the hell is "tonight the monkey dies" supposed to mean? Geez I hate songs with lyrics this inane. (Oh yeah, in verse 3 they left out 'claim', 'dame', etc.!)

  • @RootsinBrooklyn - I take "tonight the monkey dies" as 'the monkey on his back'. Could be addiction, dwelling on a lost love, it could be lots of things but whatever it is, It dies tonight.

  • @unprevarication

OK. I buy that. Thanks for the insight.

  • @unprevarication Good guesses of that the monkey symbolizes.

  • Killshot !!!!

  • I love it when Richie throws the garbage can through the window !

  • GREAT SONG !!!!! GOES WITH KILLSHOT PERFECTALLY !!!!!

  • @caveman357 I know, heard it on the movie Killshot & was immediately taken by the chords & heavy drums of this song. Tracked down the title and here I am.

  • @venom1277 lol. Thats funny. Thats how you know its good.

  • @caveman357 Good theory of what the monkey symbolizes.

  • @castillianwagon500 nice reply!

  • from the movie killshot.

  • Right! I :D

  • I saw this on TV a couple of times and it had the same cruddy reverb/static sound. Was it a production error?

  • anyone else this has a kind of subtle sexual connotations?....not being suss or anything

  • I heard this song on life too..i love that show. so i thought i'd check it out. omg I now I soo love this song. It is so hauntingly beautiful and the video is awesome too

  • This song is very innovative, it is unlike other Low songs. I really like the video too

  • this was on the show life ..episode trapdoor

  • Dulooof? do you not mean Duluth? You must be from The South.

  • Wow... thats it. wow.

  • Truly one of the best songs I have ever heard--it takes me away--big time.

  • Marvelous!

  • SUPERB SONG,FANTASTIC VIDEO

  • I live in GA and have never heard it on stations but first time i heard it I was just browsing Sub Pop recording artists, saw some of their album titles and they caught my eye. Needless to say i've been hooked as well. All the best song writing came out of the 90's in my opinion.

  • I heard this when I was moving from Florida to Vegas on some weird radio station in georgia.....and I was hooked

  • wow man sounds surreal, being from rural canada those places sound mythical

  • its too bad the name is so generic as far as search goes it makes them realy hard to find

  • i love this song

  • Looks like an average day in Duloof

  • absolut amazing and wonderful Band!!!! Aesthetic, Harmony and Disharmony at the highest Level!!!!!

  • I just now heard of these guys and I friggen love them1!!

  • awesome!!

  • Awesome video. And it's not even the best song on the album!
