@yogifromoz yogi,......I was trying to do this thing straight up which was a mistake for a lot of reasons,...then I thought what the hell, I'm doing the best I can with what I got. This winter I'm going into intense songwriting and style creating. The days are short and the nights are long so I have plenty of time to practice and ruminate on things,.....What you got going? And more of those fabulous collabs with your buddy?
Tom, Good job making it your own. You gave it that signature TomVBand sound. It takes guts to cover a song this well known and put your own slant on it. You did it very well.

Tom, this is fantastic! I like the way you put your own spin on it. It's uniquely YOU and so well performed. I actually like it better than original, lol. You don't have to feel bad for doing a cover. I've thought about doing a cover lately. I've ways loved the song, "Hard Time Killing Floor Blues." I can't give it that slick blues treatment everyone does, but I have played in on my uke, and it doesn't sound half bad, hehe. Faved this one btw, Buddy. Janet

I really love it man....you should do it at your open mic..they would dig it...
