I think they could be added in during post processing, if this tec was ever used in such a big scope for a game. This is the bare tec.

I wish there was a euphoria-like engine to go with this type of simulation.

Where you'd have a group of people on the boat, attempting to survive, and whatever happens isn't planned, it's just realtime.
