I feel so sorry for Lewis Carroll. The longing after childhood and hankering after a more innocent time where one could walk in everyday in imagination and play can be crippling burdans toi the soul if they are idolized enough, and I'm sure the real Charles Dodgeson did suffer from this, and thats what gives Alice in Wonderland its force, and its slightly dark atmosphere.
