jesus.. hes the ONLY pitcher who hits triple digits and beyond CONSISTENTLY. . theres those pitchers like verlander, neftali, basically all the other power pitchers, they hover from 96-98 mph and on those good days touch 100 when they pump it up...but aroldis man, wow, he really is 100-102 consistent and if you catch him on a good day thats when its 104..insane...plus he has a Randy Jhonson type slider at 91 mph..when hes throwing strikes, unhittable...i think hes just playing with the changeup

Aroldis chapman was born with god given mechanic's and power he grew up in cuba with no one anywhere near as talented to teach him or know what to teach him and got off the island by throwing this hard... the mechanic's are so different it unbelievable and amazing just love watching it. Although he does not have much of a finish and if he does or doesn't need a tommy john in the future he will still be the faster thrower baseball has ever had

Ok, make no mistake. The JUGS Guns you see out now with guys throwing 98-102 are BS. Nolan threw 98-102 legit on what they called the Ray gun, which ws the ball's speed going across the plate not the armspeed like the radfar gus of today with everyopne and their brother throwing 93-98. Pure BS. Nolan, JR Richards and Todd Worrel in his prime threw the legit 98-100.
