I wanted the version of Dark Flow he's holding there, ticks me off we didn't even get one (not legitimately anyways) And the one that IS in the game data sucks for the most part, the special move really isn't worth not being able to combo attack.

haven't played PSO in seemingly years must have played that game for around 2000 hours with various characters on various systems dreamcast and gamecube and now it's on PSP (free demo)

yeah phantasy star universe is different in its game play style,and its faster,than pso...but there both good games..i'd reccomend phantasy star online over it though...its more fun.

go offline or online multiplayer ultimate mode, beat olga flow with both you and your friend having RED weapons on for the whole boss battle, leave the seabed dungeon then re-enter the dungeon to where you fought against olga flow, you will get the item there. That is what i have heard.

Its called the Dark Flow. And yes you can get it. You can also get Rico's Red Ring. I just so happen to have the ring and my friend the sword. Both are ungodly rare and a pain to get.

dark flow is unobtainable by sega legit standarts, red ring is also unobtainable, schthack has the red ring as a prize and the olga flow dna is a server drop online, nontheless they still remain illgit items.

for pso bb

schthack has the drops enabled, but they are nowhere near considered rare by my standarts as you can gain several in your gameplay.

I was referring to schthack's private server and I hardly think just because it has the ability to drop, its anymore easier to get. I've been playing on that server for at least a 2 and a half years to know that its near impossible. It CAN be done, but like I said its a pain. There no easy quest to just get it or else everyone would have em. Heck Falz doesn't even like to drop regular items ever none the less that stupid ring. The Parasitic Gene 'Flow'is just as bad.

1/80 a hard drop? with quests like TTF wich make you go to the last boss very fast, you call that a rare item? it may not seem to you, but to me that drop rate is quite nice.

But hey why not make a killing farming for red rings if you're so sure. I can say they are easier to get despite those rates. Do you know how many are hunting still for both the ring and flow cell? There's a reason cells are worth nothing in comparison. Don't think for one moment MAYBE the drop rates aren't as set in stone as you think? Wouldn't be the 1st time schthack messed up.

How about this. Do you have a red ring? do you even have a dark flow? If not your points are pretty invalid. That drop rate chart means nothing really. It was made by a group that has made countless mistakes in the past. Maybe theres some truth to it. But unless everyone owns a RR/DF to the point of them being worthless, i'm throwing out your whole comparison to those holiday mage cells. Say its possible when you own 2 red rings. Hell even 1.

i don't know why are you comparing a 1/80 drop with a 1/1600 one, it's very clear that 1/80 is a much easier drop.

Ultimate falz took me so long to beat as a humar, i had the J-sword, which took me almost a year to obtain, but I felt so good when i beat it, it took me like 12 scape dolls though, lol. thanks for the posts, I miss pso.

that teory of every id having a specific ring is wrong, rigs can be either drops or prizes.

Unfortunatly it is true, the drop rate is 0 %, sonic team made it like so since pso ver.2, it's in the game code.

so if someone claims to have one, then it's hacked, some private servers may lauch the item as a prize, but sega official servers never had the ring as a prize and since the drop is 0% then your ring is hacked.

Episode 1: - Pioneer 1 lands in the planet Rangol to set up a new home for the space colony. 7 years later, Pioneer 2 finally arrives to the planet. the HQ of pioneer 1 sends out a beacon to confirm to Pioneer 2 that it is safe to land there, however before Pioneer 2 could finish comunication with the HQ, The last Boss from Episode 2,I think, blows up the Head Quarters, and all communications was lost. when pioneer 2 arrives, Red Ring Rico Sets out to investigate incident

Same as cadcsa's description, tidbits missing were the Pioneers went to search for new worlds since their old planets died out (think the apocalypse), and that Pioneer 1's crew are all MIA, assumed dead.
