So i just realized that this picture is inverted. his guitar was left handed. then i thought about this and the picture shows him playing right handed. clearly inverted as jimi played a right handed guitar and strung it left handed.

Please, please don't call this a Jimi Hendrix song. It is not.This is a JAM SESSION with Jimi and Curtis Knight. He brought his wah-wah pedal and his Hangstrom 8 string bass to jam with thses guys at Studio 76 for reasons unknown. It's a long story, but Jimi did not want these recordings released. Curtis Knight and producer Ed Chaplin put together an album of these sessions mixed with old material when Jimi was a member of Curtis Knight & The Squires to capitalize on his fame.

@orcanaoftime The reason he did these recordings is Jimi was under contract with Ed Chaplin for 3 years starting in 1965. Ok, then about a year later Jimi signed with Chas Chandler and Track Records, not telling them he was already under contract. Ed Chaplin found out, and sued. Jimi went and tried to make things right by quickly recording an album with Knight. It didn't work, and finally they settled on making a live album to give to Capitol records, Band of Gypsys.

its widely known that Jimi played a righty lefty but was also able to play whichever way he wanted, & that includes playing in the normal right handed style with a right handed guitar. So dont get hung up on the pic cois it dont matter.

Second thing: It IS a right-handed guitar held upside-down, just like Jimi did

Third thing: It looks like a right-handed guitar player using a left-handed guitar turned upside down. It's actually not the case, because the picture is mirrored horizontally. This is concluded by seeing the Fender logo on the headstock of the guitar. See it. Believe it.
