My father had a stroke about two months ago.

He's blind and has horrible dementia from the trauma to his brain.

He's in another world.. The old him is gone, completely..

But I'm not giving up yet.

@andrealoveseugene never give up hope, my aunt had a stroke 2 years ago. She was just getting better when she had another one. She was in a wheel chair for 18 months, the doctors told us she would never get better. I almost gave up. I visited her every week for those months and then one day she got better. She remembered me, she called me by my name. I started crying because I had missed her so much. Now every day I thank God because she got better. Your dad will get better I promise.

When my husband and father of our two daughters was deployed, I would listen to this song and think of him. That's all I wanted was for him to COME HOME! He is now home but, I still listen to this very beautiful song! <3
