  • LANCASTER!!! WOW, so cool to see still flying _b

  • the brittish made and dropped the biggest bomb of ww2 the grand slam 20 tons of pure destruction long live brittaneven though i am half american and half new zealander

  • rule Britannia!

  • you cannot beat the RAF.

  • TY UK for giving life to the P51 ! :)

  • The sound of that Merlin engine!!!! Superb!!!!

  • We used to make the best- the Lancasters had a bigger bomb load than anything else flying, the spits were always legendary and the hurricanes were a solid gun platform in their day that could out-turn anything the Germans had- what a combo!

  • instills such patriotic feelings when you see the memorial flights

  • My grandpa was a Lancaster bomber pilot he tell me of some crazy world war 2 stories

  • @SaberTanker22 My grandfather was a member of groundcrew with a number of Lancaster Squadrons within Bomber Command. Awesome planes.

  • @TimBrewin Yes they where very brave fighters .

  • oh i love it !!!

  • beautiful

  • I used to live on the flight path for the BBMF.

I would recoginise that engine sound anywhere

  • wow, some of my favorite planes lancaster, spitfire and hurricane. 0:37 are those spitfires painted blue for photo recon becuase i didnt think there were any of those left.

  • i was lucky 2004 , doing a film shoot under the cliffs of dover ,when a spitfire did a fly past , barrel roll , and vertical climb . it was amazing ! .

  • excuse me ,, always an england ,,, Battle of Britain ,,, and all the brave men from all over the world that fought for our country . look up your history please . from a scotsman .

  • The Spitfire and the Hurricane are 2 of my favourite planes of WW2. Beautiful sounding and looking aircraft

  • i remember a few eyars ago i saw this lovely old aircraft flying over Avenue road in St Johns Wood in London at 400 ft..it was a joy to behold..until some idiot woman asked me why they flew so low..my responce was "that it was down to the bravery of the pilots that we are now speaking ENGLISH not German!" she was very upset by this remark!

  • That merlin sound, heaven to my ears

  • There will always be an England....this is why.

  • @s6u6r6f6 Ahem.. 'Wales'

  • two things I loved: the two plane scramble; & the 4 plane victory roll HAHAHA HOG HEAVEN!!!!

  • What I think is amazing is that RR still maintains to fly with their Spitfire even now in these (economical) hard days...

    Respect.....

  • Rolls Royce? The RAF operate these, and always have.

    RR only made the engines...

  • Rolls Royce (Aviation) does own a Griffon powerd Spitfire.

As far as I know, it's still airworthy.....

  • Listen carefully at 1:07:

"what we have here today are 3 MkIX Spitfire, one from Rolls Royce..."

  • Beautifull air show of british World War II heroes... :)

  • It's nice to see these warbirds in action.

  • half the videos on youtube are uploads from dvd's... cry about it. its the internet you cant stop it, so just enjoy the vid.

  • I think in this case it might be acceptable, since its the poster's own production!
