    God bless u darlin :D

  • MAC, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, and Clinique are all cruelty free brands. They are all listed on the PETA website as cruelty free cosmetics/facial products.

  • @twlmlb09 PETA uses a different standard than what I choose to follow. For instance, PETA includes the Body Shop, which is owned by L'Oreal, who tests on animals. Therefore, by buying the Body Shop, you're still supporting a company that tests on animals. It also includes companies that use third party testing. The Leaping Bunny is far more strict of a standard. If you want more information, visit veggiebeauty's video: w w w .youtube.com/watch?v=CFq7lRVfWng

  • @27vampyr i just want to give you some extra info since i'm an undergrad researcher who works with animals (HIV lab). if you really want to go cruelty free, it's quiet impossible. all cosmetics has to go through the FDA who conduct random testings on cosmetic products that all uses animals (lab rats mostly) but are not reported. Also, each individual ingredient in the makeup, which is pretty much everything, had been tested on animals at one point in the past, so nothing is purely cruelty free!!

  • @ttycc13 I believe that nothing is truly cruelty-free, but I think that every little bit helps. I'm not vegan either.

  • @ttycc13 Actually, all cosmetics do not have to be tested by FDA. If you look at the FDA website, it says "Cosmetic products and ingredients are not subject to FDA premarket approval authority, with the exception of color additives [...] Cosmetic firms are responsible for substantiating the safety of their products and ingredients before marketing." The only time FDA does testing is if there are potentially harmful substances in the products. Check it out.

  • Oh - I am so sorry about your accident! But - I'm sooo glad you are ok & only got some minor injuries. I send lots of love & good wishes as you are recovering.

And good for you for going cruelty free! That's awesome my friend! I've been fighting for animal rights for a long time & I totally support you. Thank you so much for making this wonderful choice - for the animals who are suffering. Peace, love & blessings always :-)

  • @mdragon180 I'm almost 100% recovered now. Just lots of ugly scar tissue. Thanks for you good wishes :)

  • Btw, I think your making your choices for your youtube channel for own reasons, and that is reason enough for me. Perhaps I don't see your explanations for going cruelty free necessary because I respect your going cruelty free, AND not wasting!

  • @Poorstargazer23 I agree with you. I often find it unnecessary when Youtubers make justifications for any reason whatsoever. Like when people apologize for not making videos frequently. I understand people have lives. Hehehe but unfortunately, not everyone is as understanding as us I guess. Thanks for your support :)

  • WIshing things continue to get better for you. Much <3

  • oh my goodness i am so glad that you didn't get badly injured and hope you get well soon!!

the was once i saw a video on youtube that the guy was filming the road outside his house, laughing at all the cars and buses sliding on the snow/ice and crashing into each other, i was soooo mad!!!! that guys is so immature i don't understand how he found that funny! I had been in a car accident like this (not as bad as yours) but enough to freak my sister and i out!!!! We could have died!!!

  • @6l6l6l6l6l6l thanks. yeah, that sounds really immature and inconsiderate of that person who was filming. Car accidents are definitely not something to laugh at. It was scary as hell. I'm glad you came out ok from your accident as well.

  • omg I am glad your alright after the accident, my mother got in one recently and it was shocking. Keep on healing well girl!

  • @chelswels thanks so much :) I appreciate your warm wishes.

  • I love your taste in music :)

    So is clinique animal testing?

  • @CelineGarza hehe thanks. I want to make a separate vid on this, but short story: I think animal testing is on a continuum rather than discrete categories. While Clinique isn't as bad as P&G products (e.g. Covergirl) Clinique does not have a clean record. It is owned by Estee Lauder and their "cruelty-free" statement says that they do not test their finished products on animals. This means that the ingredients can be tested on animals and/or they get third parties to test for them.

  • @CelineGarza i ran out of space... so in my books, they still animal test until they're 100% cruelty-free. I'm not imposing my values on my viewers - this is a choice that each individual must be willing to make. Each person has to decide just how far they're willing to go. For instance, I am not deciding to go vegan so by wearing leather, I am still supporting cruelty to animals to some extent. It's about doing your small part. Some people choose to still use Clinique, MAC, Bobbi Brown, etc.

  • I'm so glad you got out of that accident with just a few scratches!!! You are so lucky and blessed! It may sound cheesy but these events really do give you a new perspective on life. Its just sad that it takes that to make us see... Anyway amazing video :-) keep on healing

  • @risingwater thanks so much for your support :)

  • @risingwater thanks so much! :) it's true that it makes your perspective change

  • oh my goodness, i'm so glad you're alive, like seriously, i mean, we've exchanged a just a few yt comments but that doesn't diminish my or your subscribers' concern. you must still be shaken up. glad to see you're able to post a vid already. i think that's brave, i'd be super frozen. heal well kiddo, and thanks for sharing!

  • @hathor2 thank you so much :) it is pretty shaking... I'm doing well though.

  • @27vampyr glad to hear it, recover well, kiddo, and thanks for sharing.

  • tigi gets their ingredients tested through a 3rd party, I'm pretty sure. I know there was something weird with their statement when I looked it up.

  • sally hansen does test.

  • @veggiebeauty damn, that's a lot of nail polishes that I have!

  • ohhh..do I hear bjork in the background? I Love her!

  • @veggiebeauty yes, it's bjork, I love her too! what an artist

  • If you want to upload this to the cruelty-free beauty channel, I think it would be helpful for girls trying to go through their collections to go cruelty free. let me know if you're interested and I'll send you the password!

  • @veggiebeauty if you think it would help, then for sure I would love to upload it. I think I'll edit it so I can take out the car accident part though hehe

  • I'm glad you're okay...I've been through that before, its so scary! your life flashes before your eyes. I was so excited to see this video...I'm so proud of you for sticking up for what's right. If you ever want to guest star on the cruelty-free beauty, let me know! Aww, that's sad about colorlover, I loved her videos. Thanks for the shoutout, I really do appreciate the support and of course the animals do:)

  • @veggiebeauty thanks a bunch :) and it was my pleasure about the shoutout. Gotta fight the good fight!

  • thank god you're alive!

  • @yuppicoha5 yes, it's quite a miracle

  • So glad you are doing well!!!

I completely agree with you about not promoting brands that test on animals!
