monkey is fast at learning miracles and has a balanced weight. he is the weakest fighter though
the tiger is brutal in combat, and is recommended for evil players. the bad news is that he is underweight and slow at learning miracles *about 9x slower than monkey*
The cow is more of a balanced fighter and learner, although he favours learning slightly. the cow is reccommended for good players, but the bad news is the cow is overweight, so make him lose the fat. evil way is to starve him a bit
I've played this game alot. The name derives from the player's freedom to choose/develop his alignment. But in fact the player is not free. Aren't you penalized for behaving bad? You need a big and prosperous people to be successful. Death and destruction are punished. To proceed properly in the game, you need to be good aligned.
the cow is smarter and more kind but has a hard time with strength and weight problems. the cow also can be way to kind so it will ignore its own needs instead of others. the tiger isnt as smart but is typically the strongest although the tiger has a hard time learning so it can be very unruly if you dont pay atttention. the ape is about average on strength and intelligence.

Black and White one was alot better than the second one. You didn't have to buy the skills for the creature. You had to learn him urself by showing it to him. It had aloot more gameplay than the scond one and you could throw shit into the vortex. You could also change creature during the game. You cant in the sequal. There were alot more spells too like food and wood. The creature could do so much in the first one.

EEERR Wrong, when a stone or something is glowing with the red glow it means it's more impressive, move it to a village you haven't captured yet and it'll continuously impress their villagers till it stops glowing.
@Killerofezzy It's giving you power to cast miracles. If the stone is bright red it means you're full with power. That power represents what mana is in other games. You can cast miracles if you have enough power. For example: A miracle may cost 800 power to cast. That's a few minutes of dancing OR a sacrifice or two by dragging things at the altar by that bright red stone (you can sacrifice from plants to animals to humans - human children yield most points; but of course, this makes you evil).
ape or cow for start i prefer ape cause he is very smart and if you keep him till island 3 you can swap him for chimp which is better version of ape you can learn him everything very fast ), than swap for something else in island 4 or 5
Cow all the way. Say about an hour ago i quicksaved before trading it for the Zebra. Though hell-nah, want me Power-Bull back. Quick-load.
What happens? My Cow is now a Zebra standing in front of the Zebra you get the choice to switch to. Basically just wazzoo'd me Cow to oblivion for a fricken Zebra.
I was startin to get fond of Zeberdee, but then Lethys Creature-knaped him.
The Tiger is a good fighter but otherwise useless even though he is probably the collest he really is quite stupid.
the monkey is smart and intellegent but i find him hard to get him to feed himself or go rest when nedded.
the cow is like the middle one he aint the best at fighting or learning but he is quite mediocre at both. i havent played with the cow right through but he is a good starting one and great for begginners who want to be good =]

Then you can get it on land 4 by doing the side quest of the woman who must cross a dangerous path to help her brother. Do it right and the wolf is yours! =)
Peter Molineaux and Lionhead studios should make expansion for Black and White 1. It would make graphics like Black And WHite 2, but gameplay and all should be the same as the first one. And.. The expansion would be free. WHo agrees?
@emeraldthechao174 well take this into consideration, i hacked the game so i started out with a turtle instead of a tiger, and this may have affected his fighting skills at first, when i reached the point of unlocking the turtle, i undid my hack and actually got the turtle, not hacked, and he fights just as well if not better, and besides, he has awesome fighting moves
the monkey: learns very fast, but not very strong... I hate the monkey honestly
The tiger:
very annoying when it comes to allinging it. it eats humans, so its hard for it to be good. but then it naturally is good, so its kinda like a netural creature. AND it takes very long to learn stuff
Is equil in most things. I have one file with a good cow, and one evil cow. the cow learns miracles quicly, but not as quick as the monkey. And, it eats any kind of food you give him. In the evil one, he has learned to eat humans. In the good one, he has learned to eat grain. He is also quite skilled in battles. Still, not as good at the tiger. Its as if this animal has no ups, nor no downs to his atributes.
Personally, To me, The cow is the best of all of them :)
My tiger eats grain and doesn't throw it up. He now eats it by himself if he's hungry. I'm pretty sure you can get any creature to eat any of the foods.
me too and i see the slow learning as a benfit instead as a pain. because a tiger will be bigger when he has finally learned something like the flock miracle.
