i agree! i got a nice stock 1993 sc300 for 2 grand... its my first car. im 17. and its funny becuz ppl at my school think becuz they got a integra they're the shit when my stock sc300 can smoke them :D. best car ever.. and only 134k miles in the thing :D

the 2jzgte came in turbo supras the 2jz-ge came in non turbo supra the sc never came with any 2jz-ge or 2jzgte they can be swapped though learn your stuff the only difference between sc300 and sc400 is motor and that the sc300 came in optional manual!!! get it straight

ok.... turbodramz23 knows what hes talking about...the jdm soarer aka sc300/400 comes with a 2.5 litre 1jz block and optional twin turbo....the u.s. version is a 2jzge straight 6 in the sc3 or the 4.0litre v8 in the sc400..the 2j is better with a single turbo setup capable of about 800hp b4 bottom end work..the 4.0 is better with a supercharg kit and its much better if you like drift setup...hp wise you go with the 2jz...the 1jz is more predictable but harder to find parts as it is a jspec block

The SC400 has a 1UZ FE(V8) and the SC300 has a 2JZ-GE(INLINE 6)

The 2jz is a non turbo motor that the supra has except the supra has stronger internals and comes turbo

and for the 1uzfe its a great engine.

As for years im not so sure but for the sc300's i would say 1997 are the best years for teh sc300's

ya its goes 93 to 97 are the years to get theres nothing different in the bay the only thing different in the 97 is the body style and lights... so if you get under 97 you can just do the upgrade to make yours look like it

depends on what you mean better..some like 8 cyl, some like the 2jz.

pre 95's are 4 speed auto no vvti, 95 to 99 are 5 speed auto vvti..there are some sc300's with factory 5 speed, but good luck finding one.

for ease of modification, the vvti's are considered easier to go na-t with..but 97 to 99, you get some different features such as the bumpers and some other goodies.
