  • wow this trailer gave nothing away.. literally nothing.

  • worst trailer ever xD

  • I loved this movie soo much

  • this is like the dreamers? fuck off

  • I wish I could watch that movie but I don't speak french :-(

  • da fuck is this

  • what the hell...

  • La mejor película lejos.

  • stupid hipster film

  • @Fuckthishurts LOL , no

  • Great movie, bad trailer

  • A beautifully crafted movie from such a young promising director! At just 21 his taste in direction looks like it has a great future

  • The short guy looks lie Daniel Bruhi who is a hottie!

  • lovely

  • since the trailer didn't tell me anything i can't say whether or not i wanna see this movie, but it kinda looks like one of those really confusing but very depressing movie that make you wanna kill yourself at end. I don't understand that at all, Why does it have to be depressing to be considered art pain isn't the only strong emotion that exist.

  • Another pretentious and "wannabe artistic" piece of crap!

  • Just watched the movie and it was awesome

the slow motion scenes coupled with the well placed music and awesome acting.

You can't compare hollywood movies to this. They're too quick! You can't savor....all the little emotions.

  • I THINK THE DISLIKES ARE BECAUSE OF THE BAD QUALITY AUDIO....

in my case, I listen it really messy :/

  • what the fuck why are there so many dislikes

  • @theinterestingsydney

I think is because the audio quality is messy! :/

in my case, I can hear it really bad!

  • music : Dalida - Bang Bang

  • louis garrel... is blonde in this?

  • when I saw Nicolas I thought "damn, he looks like Louis Garrel"

guess that was the whole point

  • Was that a French cover of "My Baby Shot Me Down" by Nancy Sinatra? (Or was hers the cover?)

  • @cgreypaw Or rather, "Bang Bang"?

  • @cgreypaw Cher sang the original 'Bang Bang' in 1966, both Nancy Sinatra's version & Sheila's French version are covers from shortly after.

  • @hazeyjaneI Ah! Thanks for the FYI! :)

  • is this gay themed?

  • did you understand any thing from the trailer???? i didn't.

  • i liked this movie, there are some very creative scenes

  • Just saw this. It's been a long time since I've watched a film which made me think when it ended "well, that was a great movie".

  • louis garrel is... blonde in this movie?

  • really loved this movie

  • it's a good movie, mostly due to the cinematography. i didn't mind the overuse of the slow motion. dolan's a good young film director.

it was just a bit hard to love this film seeing that i was expected to care about these hip, privileged, good looking french-canadian youngsters.

  • If you liked this film, check out

    Black Biscuit - Official Trailer

  • The blond guy looks hot :p

  • That girl either looks old, or MILF :/

  • @camizzle222 I think they are from Canada. It is a canadian movie.

  • @Mc8v36 now way really? that's super awesome

  • damn, those european men are hot

  • @camizzle222 They are french canadians dude!!!

  • @xXBIGYOXx no way! even more awesome

  • that was the worst trailer i have ever seen.

  • Slow motion FTW :D

  • good move too much slow motiion though, i love the ending

  • do i have to read subtitles

  • I like slow motion, I think it's great when applied at the right time, but it's obvious when somone's attempts to make a pretentious independent romance films by making it in slow motion the entire time, generally destroy the art of slow motion.

I thought Dreamers in the end, but this movie looks terrible.

  • Comment removed

  • this is the best melodrama when i ever seen

  • What a shit fucking movie

  • i hope it's not like the dreamers

  • @shabadingdongrose i hope it is!

  • @shabadingdongrose What's wrong with The Dreamers? I love that movie...

  • @MachineryOfNight nothing i like it too, i just found some of the scenes disturbing

  • very good film !

très bon film même si les sous titre étaient quand même nécessaires :) (mais bon je suis pas super forte en accents)

  • Joder, en dónde quedaron las pelis para HETEROSEXUALES!!!

  • LOVE it!

  • I was like Nico to ALL of my friends, This movie made me realize it

  • I love Dolan!

  • Oh my god, why did they even take the task to make an english version? It's not as if american people would be able to love or to understand the beauty of that kind of movies. Go back to your transformers and pop corn.

  • @Untefelehrr English people can ;)

  • @Untefelehrr generalizing's for pussies, non american frie eating pussies

  • @greatrulo Yeah, it's bad to generalize. But when you see the quality of the comments on this page which happens to be dedicated to the english world, and you compare it to the comments on the european versions, you can't be else than exasperated.

So, of course americans might be as able as anyone to appreciate that, but in the facts, you can only note that your cinematographic culture the the fact that you'd be used to the hollywoodian cliché blockbuster might influence a bit. That's just anote

  • @Untefelehrr it was a joke, us americans do it all the time anyway, for what it's worth, i'm a mexican that lives in Mexico, though heavily influenced by american pop culture.

  • @greatrulo Oh ok! Yo no habia entendido tu broma disculpa!

Italiano no francés. jajaja!

  • @Untefelehrr hehe lol

  • @Untefelehrr It's not like Americans are the only ones speaking English, though. Although I would be fine with a subbed original.

  • @Untefelehrr

No greater irony than for the ignorant to comment on the ignorance of others. You know, applying a singular belief toward 300M+ people makes you the idiot.

  • @Untefelehrr I was bron in America but i rather watch foreign films. I find so much more beauty, passion, taboo, and honesty in the films. Besides American remakes usually suck to be honest. I think it's because Americans are too lazy to read subtitles. It's shameful actually. ( i sound like a self hating American....oh well).

  • @Untefelehrr

    Oh wow, an anal-pained Frenchie.

    First time I've seen that!

  • @DanAran162 call me when you'll have found a mean to your comment.

  • Dumb blockbuster-spoiled generation... I guess the transformer was missing to entertain you :/ Btw, what's the song called? It's "Bang Bang" by Nancy Sinatra in French , right?

  • @AmazingBummi It's by Dalida and it's in Spanish not in French xD I'm a French Canadian & I know what is french and it's not :)

  • @TheXStArliGhtx I'm a German German... I didn't recognize the language ;)

    it's beautiful, though :D

  • @AmazingBummi Well okay me too i failed because it was in italian not spanish (:

  • So not pretentious at all...

  • the original french title justified much better the idea of the movie. It's about idealizing love, that's it.

    I think it's a VERY good movie for a 21 yearold director.

  • As I saw Sundance selection I knew that it will be good. It's great movie.

  • The World is fucked.

  • This looks absolutely terrible.

  • WTF is this supposed to be? Another failed attempt at seminal cinema.

  • @MrAlkaline36 it won a Palme D'Or last year in the A Certain Regard category and its extremely young director, Xavier Dolan, already directed another very interesting movie that also had very good reviews at Cannes the previous year, "J'ai tué ma Mère"... not everybody wants to see every Hollywood blockbuster, summer fick with racing cars and fake explotions and all its sequels, I mean, it's fun and I personally enjoy them very much, but sometimes I very much prefer the art of cinema...

  • @melavzla There is only one Palme D'Or, the top prize of the festival and awarded to a film in the Official Selection. The top prize of Un Certain Regard is the Prix Un Certain Regard and no, Xavier Dolan didn't win that one either. He won the Prix Regards Jeunes, which is for first or second films.

  • I loved this movie, weird, just like me...

  • So damn anoying that they have to put commercials on an short trailer.. want to old youtube back.

  • they should have called it "haircuts"

  • @melotron lol

  • @melotron Or, "Hipsters"

  • I loved the trailer, I loved the movie

  • I don't like the trailer but I bet film will be great. Xavier Dolan is a great talent altought I think I he still can't decide to become actor or director. Btw what is the song it's like Bang bang but a different version.

  • @Boromir33 Its in italian. Search Dalida - bang bang

  • what?

  • I LIKE BIG BOOTY BITCHES

  • The trailer is just bad

but i think the movie is fine, its more about the characters than the story

btw, there's no sex between these 3 main guys (as the french title "Les amours Imaginaries)

  • what's this track?

  • @kittywursty It sounds like a "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" cover song.

  • douche bag Dior a Calvin Ellis fragrance

  • You can just tell it's foreign by looking at their teeth.

  • This is the hit of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, and I ordered it on DVD from Canada. Beautiful.

  • I thought the first 25 seconds of this trailer was a advertisment commercial lol.. i was not paying attention

  • fucking hipsters

  • uneducated people frustrate me. Just because they're in the same bed DOESN'T mean they all just had sex together. If you thought the movie/trailer was horrible, then you're far to oblivious to understand the art & emotion that dwells you in. I'm sure the lack of guns, special effects and lesbian sex scenes had something to do with such naive feedback. Though I'd suggest against it. People who actually understand the movie think you're partially retarded.

  • @matiasiscool plot:

The story of three close friends who are involved in a love-triangle.

  • @beesan75 yes, that would be the plot.....but the movie`s message is a lot deeper than that. I was referring to the fact that people just see it as two people who fall for the same person and nothing more....

  • @matiasiscool I think you're totally right. French films are infamous for their exploration of the female sexuality but it explores in a deeper humanistic sense. American films I've seen that have lesbian scenes are shallow in meaning and are used for marketing, not to explore sexuality. The American audience doesn't understand that this movie comes from a lineage of stylistic rendering of storytelling and not just to make the big bucks. This movie explores human relationships and emotions.

  • @mkultraviolator There are definitely some beautiful american movies, with a deeper meaning.. and do explore sexuality.. American Beauty for example.. Just because hollywood are more famous and make more money does not make them bad and shallow.. Secondly this is a Canadian film!

I do love this movie though

  • @Churros1616 I don't argue that there are no great American films that don't explore that in a deeper way, I'm only saying that Hollywood does not focus on such explorations as often and it's rare to find movies like American Beauty that catch the attention of mainstream media. I did realize later that it is a Canadian film, sorry about that, but this film, I feel, has a lot of influence from French new wave, which is what I was referring to.

  • @Churros1616 Much more specifically, a Quebecois film. The Canadian and Quebecois cinemas are actually quite different, in a good number of ways. If I'm not mistaken it was filmed in Montréal, although many of the actors speak with a Parisian (or otherwise France) accent... just to be clear haha.

  • @matiasiscool totally agree ;)

  • @guriyahoo si como no? this is the perfect place to admint anything, sorry im not but that trailer.

  • wow!

That trailer told me absolutly not a fucking thing!

  • @guriyahoo I'm gay you moron. ;p I'm just saying this movie seems like a total gay-themes cliche. Don't insult others so easily.

  • Wow, that is definitely what I call a 'trailer'. You really get what the movie's about.

  • A scene looks like A mysterious skin.

  • yeah trios make movies... pls no more of that...

  • that is the gayest i have ever seen before.

  • is an centerpiece of art beyond a movie...

  • Is this trailer a smoking promotion ad or something?

  • Wait is it just me or is the guy kinda looks like justin bieber :S

  • Jeez... another one of those two-gay-guys-having-a-treesome-with-a-gay-hug "ambitious" European movies.;/

  • WTF

  • HEARTBEATS centers on two close friends, Francis and Marie, who find themselves fighting for the affections of the same striking young man. The more intimate the trio becomes, the more unattainable the object of their infatuation seems, sending the friends' obsession into overdrive

  • 0:10 that was some thick ass. ewwgh..

  • Xavier Dolan is a very good reference as a young participant in professional film making, and he's a promising as well.

  • wtf? threesome?

jesus... the girl must feel terrible...

  • this seams french meh, not gonna watch it

  • if anyone has seen 'THE DREAMERS' starring eva green, it looks very much like tht :) check out the dreamers great film :)

  • wtf?

  • ...?

  • worst trailer ive seen

  • i liked 0:09

  • Oh...it's this weird ass movie.

  • bad trailer. but the movie is quite good...! :)

  • Awful trailer.

  • wtf?was that edward collen?

  • boring clip. more boring movie.

  • boring

  • Another weird perfume commercial...

  • maybe the dreamers...

  • Is the song Bang Bang?

  • @robotentity Yep, but a remake of some kind.

  • @robotentity no i don't think so

  • y tu mama tambien???

  • hmmmm . ...

    but cinematography's great . .

  • The story is about best friends (a gay and a girl) who fall in love of the same guy. but it's unclear if the guy is gay or not. you have to watch it if you want to know.

  • Heartbeats. A movie about people in slow motion all the time.

  • @Fug118TheGreat lol i know right...whata fail

  • The dreamers?

  • Ass in da houseeeeeeeeeee.

  • wat

  • WTF!?

  • looks interesting,

  • Omg a cover of " Bang bang" my baby shot me down

  • @DeathNoteFreak000 Dalida's version

  • Her ass was so awesome it turned the gay guys straight.

  • boooring.

  • At least they didn't give away the plot?

  • Serious business... serious business... raining marshmallows?! the fuck?

  • "Myyyyyyy baaaaaaaby shooooooooot meeee down, down, down..." xD

  • awesome ass 0:10

  • ugh the title looks like a screencap from microsoft word! disgusting!

  • what a waist of a movie

  • They were eatin candy and got poisoned but they didnt know until they got a message saying they are poisoned and they will die in an hour so they get ther guns and start shooting the fuckers that sold the candy to em but they got the wrong guy thus starts a journey to find the candy makers meanwhile they are just throwing emotional baggage at the girl
