But in the end it tirned out it wasn't the dimension he lived in... kind of... So tecnically: From the moment Nagisa died (cried my damn heart out) it was all a memory that never would take place... sort of...

If you watch Clannad, pay attention to the light orbs in the illusionary world. Those light orbs are granting Tomoya to make a wish come true.

Also, Nagisa somehow knows about the illusionary world, calling it "The place where wishes come true".

At the end of After Story, you'll see those light orbs being depleted, while the illusionary world dies off.

As for the light orbs, which have been completely depleted in the illusionary world, are granting Tomoya a wish to come true. Why Tomoya? Because of his efforts to make everyone around him happy. While he is aware of it or not, deep inside he wishes Nagisa to come back to life, and so she does.

I love this video so much, and the song is so touching! It fits the relationship of Ushio and Tomoya perfectly :) Clannad I think, is the saddest anime I have ever seen and I love it so much. I cried like Ive never cried before when I watch the After Story. You gotta feel so bad for Tomoya tho, everyone he loved is being taken away from him, and he is such a good guy. I'm just happy it had a happy ending :) Thank you for making this video, it reminded me of how much I really love Clannad <3
