@Itlan if a playoff game reaches overtime the first team to score a touchdown wins. if they kick a field goal, the other team has a chance to match it or more. after a field goal is scored then the next point wins the game. so, technically, if this happens again this year, they'd need a touchdown, not a field goal to win.
