cheeseball as hell (80s leftovers) but still killer to see again (always remembered the two blondes "Vh1...VH1!!!). always more of a vh1 guy than MTV (until it became the same craphole embarrassment that MTV is now).
I remember the acappella one that went (I think it was another one with the dog): "VH-1, the GREATEST... HIIIIITS!!!!" Shame they didn't put that one in this vid, but I'm glad they put in the other one ("VH-1... VIDEO HITS OOOONE!!!")
Thanks for posting this! :) Brings back memories from vh1 in 1991 and '92. I have a few of these taped with the same music, but the people on screen in slightly different motions.
Flawless music and vocals as always (not counting the 60Hz hum!), and some interesting "sono-syncing" by the performers!
And finally we get to see what "colorsonics" REALLY look like! Toes were the days!
Also, the very last video is very well done, with the male-to-female transitions and esp. the way the "H" is BEHIND the models as they cross! Cool stuff!
john, to tell you the truth, i can't see, but i'm a big jingle junky, even Diana can tell you that. i really didn't know who you guys were until 2008, the day of the grammies! i had stopped collecting, because there wasn't anything enteresting! that is, until i heard you guys along with others on youtube. i'll always remember you for KSON! Diego for life!
Yes. JAM did an earlier custom package for VH1 when it first began, in December 1984. The original VJs included Don Imus, Scott Shannon, Judy Collins and others.

@RetroBoyWontDie VH1 and MTV are BOTH from Viacom, so it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Now I can get rid of the VHS tape where I had recorded a few of these! I *love* these videos (and Jam, of course). Thanks so much for posting.
