More proof of the Big Daddy mindset of the US of Israel complex. No one else is entitled to try to protect or deter. Everyone is an enemy (even US citizens).
It will be Israehell who'll toss the first nuke. They've proven themselves to be, over & over again, the most evil terrorists this world has ever seen. Too bad their neighbors didn't take them out a long time ago.
Thanks for putting these questions up for debate! And yes, my first questions would be: So what if Iran develops nukes? Does anybody seriously think that they will launch a first strike against any of their neighbors? I mean, seriously! Their entire country would be wiped off the map almost instantly. Iran would never attack Israel first, because it would be suicidal to do so. On the other hand, having a few nukes of your own, might actually deter an attack by either Israel or the US.
@55ella2007k (part 2): I'm not saying that it is good idea to pro-liferate nukes in general, it never was, but the concept of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) actually worked as deterrant to all out nuclear war between the super powers. An attack on Iran, with or without nukes, would set the entire Middle East on fire, including a possible global nuclear war. Neither China nor Russia are going to sit idly by - yet everything seems to headed this way. It is utter insanity !
Hard to tell where Quinnipiac University funding comes from exactly although there is a list of corps that do unlimited fund matching for Quinnipiac, Exxon being one of the top.
A question like "Given the fact that Iran has not attacked or invaded a foreign country in 150 years, do you feel they are a threat to the USA?" would have been a great addition to the obviously biased poll.
