  • he back in the year i was born 1995!

  • The artist returns to his true canvas...Nice job Bob

  • when did u record this ? 95 ?

  • numb nuts how could u cut the NBA on NBC theme song!

  • @bocajrthug106

OMG your right... Thats a sin!!!!!

  • Michael Jordan is back.

    Game 7 Is Next.

  • lebron should do this

  • LOL at the random guy on his knees recording with a video camera. This is one of the most funniest videos ever.

  • I still have this game on VHS original broadcast.

  • the 13 players he was playing against disliked this video

  • Did he really return or he is just talking on NBC ????

  • forest gump music?

  • back when tv commentators made art

  • Dude, I can see you.

  • This felt like christmas in spring and this totally shits all over "the decision" so many people looked foward to MJ possibly coming back and I waited all week for a press conference only to leave for an appointment on a saturday and find out dude drops a 2 word fax "I'M BACK" now thats swag lol

  • This would have been one of the great videos of all time....but you cut off the NBA on NBC theme song. Shame on you, sir. Shame.

  • Man I used to love the NBA on NBC, sunday double headers and MJ was back! The theme song pumped me up! I miss the good old days.

  • you cut the best part

  • When did you filmed this?

  • I'm more interested in 0:03. That's a reflection of Jordan himself taping it.

  • Hakeem better everyday kiss those two rings that he won the two years that Jordan was off. I would cause if not, Hakeem and the Rockets would have been RINGLESS AND CHAMPIONSHIPLESS WITH ZERO RINGS!!! Jordan would have had EIGHT if he HADN'T RETIRED!!!

  • @TheeVulture We still won those championships Jordan retired because his dad died and he wanted to take time mourning him... and stop saying our championships are jokes.. Its liek saying michael jordan couldnt win those 6 because bill russel was off The fuck?

  • @TheeVulture I went to say if* not because

  • Jordan could have accomplished a heck of a lot more if he had never taken those years off, more rings and could have broken Kareem's record

  • I watched this game....it was a sunday afternoon. My 10th birthday party. So awesome. as a child growning up in the late 80s and 90s...Jordan was the Shit.

  • @Onyxions With Kobe as a leader, name the playoff series his team has won without a home court advantage? There are none. Also, name the series that he's been a part of where his team couldn't hold their home court advantage and lost? At least Detroit in the Finals and now Dallas.

Wanna guess how many times the Bulls lost with home court advantage? Zero. Not one time. And few times won as an underdog against great teams, like Phoenix, Utah, Cleveland and NY.

  • I missed Michael Jordan big time. (sniff sniff). :-(

Please Michael Jordan, please come back and win another title for me so you can bring back the memory of the good old days.

    Do you all agree?

  • The God of basketball.

  • @Onyxions I'd rate this with 1000000 thumbs up if I could.

  • I remember that day so clearly. Game was played on a Sunday afternoon in March 1995. It felt like Christmas morning to me.

  • thumbs up if you think hameed should be thrown into a black hole for saying michael jordan sucks

  • Why didn't you film through the NBA on NBC Theme song? Would have made it 100x better.

  • one of the happiest and most memorable moments of my life.

  • For those who say Kobe Bryant is on the verge of matching Michael Jordan......this is pretty much my response

The guy was out of the NBA for two years and still has a superior resume....add in 2 more mvps, 2 more rings

  • No NBA player will ever have this much pull, he was the greatest ever. No player is anywhere near Jordan. When you hear Jordan is coming back, you drop what you're doing and watch.

  • I remember watching this live.... with tears rolling down my cheeks, and sperm dripping out of my cock.

  • @gbinct you are so gay. Micheal Jordon would slap you and the other 11 thumbs up people

  • @gbinct This was the funniest shit I've heard in a long time because I was on the same shit that day!

  • @gbinct wow you sound so gay. can't believe how many faggots gave you 32 thumbs up.

  • @gbinct

    WHAT THE FUCK?

  • @gbinct LOL!!!!!!!

  • @gbinct hahhahahahahahahaahahah

  • @gbinct o_O?

  • @gbinct BWAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • @gbinct your fucking gay dude

  • @gbinct weird... LOL XD

  • "The Greatest in the World IS BACK!" Nuff Said.

  • NFl has a better product right now

  • @hameed your an idiot.

  • @hameed hes father died before he started playing baseball lmao u suck

  • the best there ever was,the best ever there is,the best thre ever will be...

  • nice roomm

  • I remember this game! NBA on NBC had the most epic intro.

  • great video except u cut out the awesome nba on nbc theme song!

  • dam son you are g-h-e-t-t-o

  • The NBA on ABC is just so freaking lame..... ESPN ruined NBA on NBC & took a crap all over Monday Night Football.

  • @leorippe you mean NBA on ABC. ESPN didn't ruin NBC, my man. At least TNT is still there making serious intros than ESPN/ABC. Watch NBA on TNT, because its like NBC.

  • @leorippe And Monday Night NFL Football is improved, man.

  • Love the NBA on NBC introduction, as always right when Costas is done talking, the Peacock wings are layed out and the music hits. Sweet as hell!!! If I was rich, I would talk to Stern heavily about bringing it back, and bringing Costas ba.ck immediately

  • NBC was the sh*t back then! Now its just pure sh*t

    Before:

    NBC=National Basketball Channel

    Today:

    NBC= National Bullcrap Channel

  • @guy2008rules You must be talking about MSNBC. The NBA on NBC was the SH!T!

  • Today people go crazy about Justin Bieber releasing a new song. Back then, there was something to get excited about. I can imagine how big this news was...

  • @Shadow94049 Cause society cares more for fake and cheap noise pollution over what incredible athletes who gave everything for the fans of the game like what MJ did. When he returned, he was the news of the WORLD. A true artist like what Costas brilliantly stated.

The 90's NBA will live forever. This just put the icing on the cake.

  • @Oldschoolhockey91 I know right? Michael Jordan worked his butt off while today's famous people hardly do anything! The 90s will never die

  • @Shadow94049 whole heartedly, I'm glad I'm a 90's kid. He was a hero to a lot of people, his video of "losing" when he says at the end of all his failures "and that is why I'm successful." is just bone chilling.

  • @Oldschoolhockey91 Hell yeah, I'm a 90s kid myself and Gatorade didn't make the "I want to be like Mike" commercial just because it sounded good. To every boy that grew up in the 90s watching basketball, Michael Jordan was an inspiration, the beacon of confidence, the competitive edge, the drive, and will power to succeed. I will never be in the NBA, but Michael Jordan's legacy still motivates me to achieve my goals today.

  • @Shadow94049 Not only That, also LeBron leaving for Miami. Don't forget it, nuff said.

  • The greatest moment in NBA history. :)

  • Loved seeing you kneeling in front on the tv with your camera...lol.

  • atltwen, shit this is sickkk. this is spurting from someone who s the shortest on his team but can dunk with EASE. I used the dunk training program over at | 50 inch vertical [dot] com | and gained past 15 ins on my dunk.

  • NBA on NBC was the best ever. 90s basketball FTW!

  • how could you stop this recording before the NBA on NBC theme?

  • @MenaceFan I KNOW RIGHT!

  • i remember that nbc intro on weekens especially durring playoffs ,good times

  • You had it going great, then you cut out right before the theme hit. Facepalm.

  • lmfao at 0:02-0:5

  • This videos gives me chills! Imagine watching this live. Man!

  • Still gives me chills, costas is da bomb.

  • Man 1999 really sucked for the NBA because Jordan retired and the NBA schedule was reduced to 50 games because of the lock out.

  • nba needs to be on nbc it just has to be.

  • lol hahaha wat kinda camera is that lolz shit hilarious

  • lol...nice camera

  • this video sucks

  • Toss up of people i'd want to narrate my life Costas or Samuel L. Jackson

  • What a faggot, you cut the vid just before they played the NBA on NBC theme song.

  • @madmaxninja08 right, that was pretty gay.

  • @madmaxninja08 nice remark for someone nice enough to put this vid on... very mature...

  • Well it is the truth.

  • wow i didnt even know the 3 point line back then was right on top of the key i thought it was like current day.

  • Jordan is the greatest athlete of all time in any sport.

  • Anyone else realize this is the music from the running scene in Forrest Gump?

  • #VIDEOPOSTERID# nice video, reminds me of me in college - heh. I'm five'seven and I can windmill dunk. I took the famous training plan that real nba players use. For more info about the training program, go to - 50inch vertical[dot]com

The NBA on NBC; Michael Jordan returns!

  • The same jerk makes up 100's of accounts pushing that 50 inch vertical B.S. if you read the comments when you see shit about that he's 5'6 5'7 5'8 5'9. HE'S A SPAMMER!!!!

  • i was there at this game....memories!

  • the greatest of all time

  • man the good ol days nba on nbc, i miss the old life...

  • If we are talking about this clip you should visit NBAPremium(.)tk to see better quality of it

  • 0:03 - Hey, dude.

  • atltwen blah, why love the NBA even with it's problems. I am following this training program that's used by NBA players - | 50 inch vertical(dot)com | - I already jump several ins taller and dominating on the court!

The NBA on NBC; Michael Jordan returns!

  • LivESPOrtSvidS /d o t / c o m ====> l i v e TOdaY's GAme, 'n a lot of others!

Re: The NBA on NBC; Michael Jordan returns! by alenalovejoy66

  • c'mon guys.

Ya there's some kids who talk nonsense here. I love Kobe, and would even put him on a list of the potentially second/third best ever.

But the greatest of all time is a no-brainer. the second best doesn't even come close to the 1st.

    the G.O.A.T is MJ23

Its not nostalgia. I really want to see again a player as good, and even better.

  • btw, BOB COSTAS is the best game intro guy ever

  • I was just about to say he really knows how to sum up the moment.

  • @tonton6969 No he's not... on NBC, it was Marv Albert... Bob was a little too quick to make slights about Jordan and the Bulls whenever they would lose a game, even after winning 72, yes, 72 games in the regular season, and being 14-3 up to that point in the playoffs, check out his "intro" monologue for game 6...

  • @tonton6969 its not just bob costas that i miss its marv albert too. bob and marv were a dynamic duo like batman and robin, magic and kareem, lewis and clark or abbott and costello.

  • @tonton6969 im a LAker fan and i have Kobe on 11th best so far..Shaq has accomplished more then him

  • 11th best??? WOW WOW... i'd like to hear your top 10...

  • put it like this... when its all said and done and kobes career is over.... it will be 1A. Jordan... 1b. Kobe..... plain and simple

  • I was 10 when this happened...like it was friggin yesterday. I miss the NBA on NBC.

  • I remember watching that game. Costas is indeed the best for intros.

  • when he came back i didn't he would be as good as he was before his first retirement.

  • If he's the best ever, WHY does he NEVER consistently put up BETTER #'s than MJ in the skilled facet of the game, especially in an era with relaxed perimeter defensive rules to do just that?

He can score from anywhere? Does he consistently score from half court or something? The 3-pt line, FT Line & any area below it, are the ONLY places wing players score from & last I checked, MJ CONSISTENTLY not only scored MORE from these places, but was MORE efficient at it as well..

  • "Mike mostly worked in the post"

Clearly the words of the typical dumb YouTube kid who NEVER saw MJ prior to 1996, if that LOL!!

U gotta be INCREDIBLY stupid to think that a guard consistently avg'd 30+ppg in the reg season & playoffs, from MAINLY operating in the post LOL!! Only U kobe homers are stupid enough to claim something so ridiculous..

Go check & see who has MORE seasons shooting AT LEAST 40%, 39%, 37% & 35% in 3's & get your feelings hurt LOL!!

  • "his [kobe] ball handling is much better"

    Career T.O.'s: MJ 2.43 > KB 2.91

    Career T.O.'s Per 40 Season: MJ 2.65 > KB 3.22

    Lowest T.O.'s Per 40 Season: MJ 2.0 > KB 2.8

    Highest T.O.'s: Per Game Season

    MJ 3.2 > KB 4.1

Career Assist to T.O. Ratio: MJ 1.93 > KB 1.56

Highest Assist to T.O. Season: MJ 2.57 > KB 1.96

So WHERE'S kobe's alleged "superior" handles when & where it matters the MOST?!!

  • You can't compare the NBA of today to what it was during the jordan era. Current NBA is weak in comparison son. Wilt Chamberlain also scored 100pts in a game... against fodder NBA players like what we see today.

  • How do u figure the nba players today are fodder than yesteryear??? Man are u crazy.....they are way more athletic, faster, and everything else. U can't be serious!

  • I dunno back in the 80s and 90s there were athletic freaks like Wilkins, Jordan, Pippen, Drexler, Olajuwon, Barkley, Nance, Woolridge etc etc etc

Sure athleticism still in the current leauge but there are also way more none athletic Europeans playing in the current league.

The current defensive rules is what makes this era weak compared to the 80s and 90s not the players. Stop the ticky tack fouls, Stop the 3 second rule in paint, stop handcheck rule all this makes the current league weak

  • um no. They might be athletic and that's bout it.

Scrubs on teams could even hit the 15 footer constantly. Now days, even the best player cant guarantee it.

U need to watch old games and watch guys like Ewing, D-Rob, Olajuwon, Malone, constantly hit from 15-18 ft and watch the fg %. and these are big men i'm talking bout. The guards were another story. If they were wide open, CONSIDER IT DOWN.

  • @Ucanseeme08 somewhat more athletic. Somewhat faster. Unfortunately it's not a track meet, it's basketball. And that my friend they can't play worth a damn. Why do you think so many rules are dumbed down? To improve scoring and dunking, because nobody can hit a open jump shot to save their lives. NBA is a terrible product today, and if you have followed basketball for 30yrs or so it's so easy to see. And about athleticism, Bird couldn't jump an inch but he'd own the NBA today.

  • @75samuel75 to say that the nba today cant make jump shots is flat out ridiculous. look at the orlando magic who surprised a lot of people going to the finals last year... even their big men like rashard lewis and hedo turkgolu could shoot. the lakers have kobe (who is a great shooter), fisher and even a big guy like odom. the celtics have ray allen (who is usually incredible) and paul pierce... even garnett can make jump shots (top of the key usually). do you watch basketball?

  • @75samuel75

Tell them brother. Watch any NBA game from the 80's and everyone nailed their jumpshots. The league today has a worse FG% then the league during the 80's.. or 90's

  • memories!!

  • Bob Costas is the greatest for game intros

  • NBC coverage of the nba was so much better then abc's coverage nba go back on nbc

  • I agree!

  • I want NBA on NBC back!

  • NO JOKE! With Bob Costas!!!! Those were the days, I loved the intro song to the games!

  • im from jordan's era my son likes kobe so much.. he like mj too but he said defense in jordan era is far far away different than this days.. btw my son is only eleven..

  • Yeah, the defense in Jordans era was actually played right! Teams had to play honest and you couldnt have all this roaming crap that goes on now days!

  • superb.............

  • These were the glory days of the NBA..

  • YUP!

  • Amen, amen, amen....can't understate it

  • Today's NBA is watered down by competition from other leagues for players. Jordan was so good that even when the league was at its peak, he dominated it more than anyone else in history.

  • it was watered down but I think it's comin back around

  • THE BEST IN THE WORLD IS BACK

  • Kobe is a great player but until this past year, he didn't know how to compete at the level of Jordan's Bulls, Magic and Kareem's Lakers, Bird's or Russell's Celtics and even Isiah's Pistons for that matter. I'm biased for those guys, but I loved watching those guys compete, it was war from tip off to buzzer. No posing, players made their reps on the court, not in an ad agency.

  • I personally would just like for you to name these 11 players that you believe were better all time than MJ, mr. "Jordan's biggest fan". If they are plausible, then we all might listen to what you have to say... emphasis on "might".

  • Kobe Bryant couldn't wash MJ's bald head---

Excellent point, kids today have only been exposed to Lebron and Kobe, its unfortunate they missed out on the greatest----Michael Jordan, if they still are questioning it, just look at career numbers...there is no more argument.

  • TheLAKERSareGodsTeam...YOU SUCK!!!

  • yup god is a lakers fan alright. amen.

  • TheLAKERSareGodsTeam is not a "fan" he's a fucking ASSHOLE.. He has wet dreams morning noon and night thinking about Kobe CRYant....If you look at his page you can see how much of an ASSHOLE he is.... Take care buddy

  • he returned to win 3 more rings. epic.

  • you sir are an idiot. If you put a timeline on what Jordan did and what Kobe did in the same respective years they were in the NBA Jordan completely dominates kobe's achievements.

  • Kobe is better than MJ? That's like saying Zac Efron is better actor than Jimmy Stewart. Well, maybe it's not that bad, but still...

  • plus Jordan hard better teams playing against him.....much better.

  • Michael would whoop kobe's ass anyday in his prime

  • PREACH!!!! lol

  • lol

Kobe is just cheap compared to Jordan.

    haha

  • watch jordans games then you will see what jordan is all about kobe himself said that micheal is better

  • dumbass.

  • i love kobe and the lakers but i will still put jordan as 1 and kobe as #2 all time

  • for now

  • nice of you to concede that but Kobe is not remotely the 2nd best player ever. People got bad memories thinking the newest thing must be the best thing because thats what people talk about now and your highlights are shown every night. Kobe's not even the best Laker ever, behind Shaq, Kareem, and Magic.

  • completely agree

  • well said

  • What a wonderful day. NBA tickets are and expensive and back in the day for our birthday...we got to pick one Pacers game to go to and my cousin was a big Scottie Pippen fan. The day before the game it was announced that Michael Jordan was coming back...we started jumping up and down. That was the loudest event that I've ever been to...concerts included. Reggie brought it and you have thought a title was on the line. I can't believe that I was there.

  • thats so awsome especially since you didnt know at the time that mj was coming back. man that musta been awsome 3 great players on the court at once

  • same thing wit kobe and shaq kobe could'nt do it without shaq until he had a good team in pau gasol odom ect, jordan had no teaam until he had scottie rodman ect. and even though am 16 i know my history you living in the past the game has changed new rules diffrent defenses.
