in german class the professor told us that germany has 6 different dialects. some people pronounce ich like ish, ick, ika, etc. it all depends i guess where your teachers are from and how they were taught german. :)
I learned that same song when i took Deutsch klasse. But i was taught to pronounce the "ch" like in "ich" or "spreche" like a "ka" sound. Not like ish but like ick. And not spresha but sprecka. Did anyone else learn to pronounce it this way? or did my frau franklin teach us wrong?
@KissnUpAndBleedn Im not german, and tbh I havent heard too many germans speak...but my teacher, my german friends and the people from the book's CDs all said ich o.o..maybe it depends on the place you live...In dutch, Ich=Ik and Sprechen=Spreken...and since you said Frau, Im pretty sure you learnt german cause I believe in dutch its vrouw...anyway my point is, languages evolve, and maybe in some places they say it like that and its still considered german..
Im taking German for 7th grade and we learned this song...
