  • Can anybody help me with couscous? I boiled it in water and now it's all sticky, not crumbly, and basically just formed a big mass of sticked grains @_@ how should i cook it?

  • @radulica If you are using a commercial brand (17oz0 pk add1cup of hot water to 1 cup of couscous plus 1/2 tsp of salt. .cover it and let it sit for7mns. remove cover and stir it to break it into a rice like texture.. you need to steam it so use a chinese vegetable steamer or a pot with a tight fitting colander.. first wait for the steam to come through the colander then pour enough couscous to cover the bottom ( a thin layer) once there is steam.20mns then take it out and repeat.

  • @isayfew once steam comes through add the rest of couscous and steam. once done separate grains like at the beginning and add some butter while hot . enjoy!

  • decided to try it out, not bad at all. thanks for the recipe

  • this is what i would call the lazy way of making couscous. make the real stuff man

  • @isayfew I concur, and besides wouldn't the easy step by step instructions be on the box?

  • looks delicious

  • i am moroccan chef, and i cant see this vid without making this comment.

what i saw is fried chikken and boilled semoulina. first, couscous is traditional meal. needs special spices and method.

i can easily tell you: to make a pizza, put cheese and ketshup on bread!!!

  • totally agree with you

this may be the worst couscous recipee i have ever seen . i love couscous and im shocked that someone can put a recipee like that pretending they can do it .(were are the vegetables ,merguez, poids chiches, agneau, bouillon and very important the harissa ?????????

  • eh ben voilà un connaisseur!!

  • your wrong about the pizza, its passata or pasta type sauce, not katchup. I wouldn't like to try your pizza man!

  • This is a very excellent couscous recipe. It's fast, easy and the final results are fabulous!

    Thanks Cas.
