hmm ok seadiver2 but there are also good dive stories and videos on the net... try the myscubastory site. type myscubastory into google and its the first one
Dolphins swim an average of 10 miles, 16 kms a day. You have place them in a 400 meters wide port. it is like been tied to a bath tub for them. It is a mean way of making money. Many dolphins have committed suicide, the last one at Sea World in Miami he drowned himself to the bottom of the pool and stopped breathing.Touching the dolphins, how would you like people touching you on the streets as you walk
And they say that dolphin meat is delicious. Grilled with aromatic herbs and olive oil, similar to lamb meat. My dream is to taste a slice of grilled dolphin... :-)
I would very much love to swim with dolphins .... BUT in the wild. I agree with jordanunicorn77 you people need to watch "The Cove". The dolphins in the sea-aquariums are taken by force & the ones that aren't suitable are slaughtered. Please until you watch "The Cove" don't bother to comment because you have no idea what you're talking about !!!
They look happy??? This poor animals, nature make a big mistake and gave them a smile!!! When a dolphin dies, he will smile, too!!! It´s a big lie of nature!!! They everytime look happy, but they aren´t!!!
This is animal abuse!!!! this animals belong to the oceans not in a small pool, where they cannot swim, dive, catch fishes, play!!!!This is very very strange and everybody who support this is a animal abuser!!!!! You pay money for animal abuse!!!! Stop it!!!! From whhere come this dolphins??? I think from japan! Do you know that there every year 20.000 dolphins where killed and only the nicest come to hell in a dolphinarium!!!!!!!
boycott all such abusement parks. if you love dolphins DO NOT DO THIS! You are supporting all kinds of animal abuse that you are not aware of. please see the movie called The Cove. Look it up on google. Also don't grab a dolphins skin or especially ride on their fins, they are sensitive and not made for your entertainment.
@nikkicraft Interesting how you're defending dolphins since their males have been shown to work together to 'keep' a female to use as their slave. What about their murder of young so that the mother will go gravid again and they have a better opportunity to pass their genes on? The small percentage of dolphins that are in captivity are cared for to the best of the keepers abilities, which is more than can be said for a larger percentage of human children. It's nice to see your priorities though.
@archincubus So I assume you would agree that the stolen generation of Australia was also a good thing then? If you don't understand a culture, or you disagree- the best course of action is to steal their young, right?
What if I decided American culture was immoral and decided to take all of your children - it'd be okay as long as I fed them and kept their habitat clean right?
People need to just enjoy the video. Yeah, it's wrong that they aren't in their natural habitat, but at least they are safer. Plus, they seem to enjoy the company. :)
Please see "The Cove". movie to learn the ugly truth behind the dolphin-swim industry, before you support it. .
Did you ever wonder where they came from? Or how they were torn away from their parents? See the movie and learn the truth; you will be glad you did.
Please, people, do NOT pay to swim, ride or be photographed with any animals while traveling.. Do a little checking before exploiting animals in the name of "entertainment". Thank you.
@bynemobs : Learn from you? another idiot who thinks that she is not an idiot and the rest who gives different opinions are idiots. . another moron who highly think of herself...oooo you are so smart huh..the rest of us are not as smart as u huh.. oh fuck yourself !!
@amiebuffalo .|. there's online porn for stressed people. Do you work with animals? Do you work with dolphins. I think not. ONCE MORE : .|. and have a nice day. Idiot!
@bynemobs Actually, the person is right. Captive dolphins do die early, much earlier than they would in their natural habitat. Many of them actually just commit suicide because they are depressed. You think that just because they are fed and taken care of makes them happy and keeps them interested?
looks boring.... u sit there with life jackets and watch them swim around u id rather have goggles and swim under water with them with clear water and hang on to their fins
They don't do anything voluntarily.. they are starved an then taunted with food as a reward. Swimming with dolphins or any animal in captivity only feeds a cruel and violent industry.
i do think that animals in captivity are cruel they should be in the wild thats where they was in the first place and thats where they belong but then i do think that having animals in captivity help give people an understanding of animals and can teach us not to destroy there habitat also they do conservations to help save animals but i do think that they should be in the wild.

I hope you all drown when you realise your 'dream', animals should not be kept in captivity and the argument that they are safe is just ludicrous. Take responsibility for your actions. Because of your desire to do that a dolphin is taken from it's natural habitat, that's a fact. When you leave, that animal stays in a small tank for the rest of it's life rather than swimming with it's family group in the oceans and seas. You are causing pain and being cruel, deal with it.
AquaTeal334, if they weren't caught they would be caught by fisherman anyways and killed. it is best for them to be kept somewehere safe considering they are an endangered species.
@em1luvs2mitch3musso4. Do your research. How would you like to have to live in a bathtub turning only in circles in highly chlorinated so it causes constant dryness and infection swimming and doing tricks for dead fish to keep you safe from societal violence? you wouldn't. This post does not deserve so many thumbs up. See The Cove. If you love dolphins don't support this mentality or this reality. also see the congressional hearings coming in about a week about keeping mammals in captivity.
@em1luvs2mitch3musso4 "The Sun Sentinel explored the world behind marine parks in a 2004 investigative series. It found that over the previous three decades, about 1,500 sea lions, seals, dolphins and whales in marine parks had died at a young age, some from human hazards such as capture shock and ingestion of coins and foreign objects." When so many animals die at such young ages it means extremely stressful, unhappy and unhealthy lives. Not safety. That's the evidence not your entertainment.
They do everything voluntarily, which suggests that they must enjoy it. Many dolphins in parks and aquariums were born there, not all were captured from the wild. There are several dolphins in captivity in their 40's or 50's, while dolphins in the wild are lucky to make it to 25 or 30. And they are NOT endangered.
Bottlenose dolphins are listed as "depleated" - 2 categories under Endangered. JUST in the pacific ocean there is estimated to be ~240,000 and all around the globe at about 945,000 dolphins. They are protected under the marine mammal protection act and no longer are "cought in the wild and foced to live in those places for all their lives" in the US. In the wild they starve, get caught in fishermen's nets, battle for food, are attacked by predators, and also have to cope with pollution.
so beautiful

Why not criticize them ? They are ugly, stupid, they smell fish, their only quality is that they taste good when grilled with barbecue sauce.
