  • Thanks for posting this lpstd! I remember back in the day when we Elvis listers would get together for "listening parties" on the net...you were one of the listeners! It's great to see these videos ...back in the day we would have died to have access to all of them! Missmcbth.

  • I watch a lot of Elvis videos as I am am a big fan. I often see negative comments saying that he is a "sell out". How is being a successful musician seen as being a sell out?

  • what doesn't he do well?...one of the most versatile and original musicians of our time....ok..the desert island question....if you could have music from only one artist which one would it be?, I think I would take EC. After reading all remarks I was thinking of the high intelligence of his "fans"...good work all.

  • Great post. I never saw this when it came out. I loved Almost Blue as a CD and this one is one of the best on there. Elvis's golden period where he could do no wrong.

  • EC has just grown and grown as a singer thru his career... he could spar with any singer on earth!!

  • The only country music I can stand

  • DANNY FERRINGTON GUITAR......

  • Very nice, thanks! (wish it was stereo though).

  • Saw him last night! He was very good! Loved his version of All or Nothing at All, don't think he has recorded it though!.

  • Elvis C. Has always had great respect for country music. I was shocked when I saw this on HBO years ago. I thought he pulled it off quite nicely.

  • This was a great show. I have it on video tape still. Almost Blue was a great album too.

  • this has always been a definitive Elvis performance, the song seems to have been written for his plaintive dynamo of power and delivery, the crowd response is undeniable, paople are witnessing the coronation of the new, and still reigning, king of rock n roll...long live the king and may g-d bless his kingdom and we, his subjects!

  • uhhhh great job!

  • Yeah, the George Jones H.B.O. special was in 1980 I believe.....I bet I watched ten times as this song by Elvis C. was the highlight for me. Elvis really is the king.

  • Perfectly good guitar.

  • i got this on CD a great version

  • Brilliant post. Thanks!

  • Great video.... I remember seeing this when it aired. I believe it was from a show called "George Jones & Friends". Elvis had the mumps and had mentioned that he "wouldn't have missed this if he were on his death bed". Fantastic!

  • Thanks! My brother has this on bata so now I can see it here.

  • great song.

check out christopher holland (jools little bros)version on everything you can imagine is real

  • You are brilliant for sharing all this Costello stuff...I'm in heaven!!!

  • I so love this song

  • Damn! Where in the hell did you find that? Amazing!

  • Zounds, I am part of youtube nation! I live and breathe the zeitgiest! I feel so empowered! I am verklempt! But enough about me. What do YOU think about me?

  • When you find out, let me know!

  • I don`t know who posted but I did watch it severel times

  • Sell out jerk??? Idiot.
