Great vid. I'm impressed with the Xray cancel in the middle of the combo with Sub. I've always noticed you could cancel it, but didn't realize it could carry the combo. I've attempted this quite a few times, and I can't get that timing. Can you or anyone shed a little light on that?

@aristides1002 Tyler did not waste the xray, he used it to get higher damage. He used Sub Zeros xray cancel to continue the combo. It is unblockable, and the reason he does it is because doing this makes it where you can get more damage than ANY other combo using both of these characters. It does 67% damage and you can not get that high of damage without using the xray cancel. Its really not that hard to understand if you actually know a lot about the game.

@aristides1002 What Loseify is saying is, I use the XRAY cancel to connect another jump in punch to b2,1 to the freeze. I do jump in punch, b2, 1, XRAY cancel, then jump over and do it again linking it to the freeze. Without the XRAY cancel, you can not link them together. Linking them together takes the combo higher than ANY other combo these 2 can do together. I hope that helps.

2:52 I found a Wall Variation on that Combo and when I do the Combo on 5:38 I get 60% Damage instead by changing it slightly :) I owe it all to you

@TylerLantern When the Ice Clone freezes the Opponent, then I used (Up + Square) and then while he was bouncing, I did (Back + Square, Triangle), making sure that both of those Moves had to hit or else it wouldn't work. The Timing is fairly tricky because the Opponent will De-Frost before the Up + Square.

@TheChump1estD1g1ty If you watch the video, the highest combo uses the Sub Zero X-RAY cancel, and is 67% damage. Skarlet and Sub Zero alone can not get that high, and that is the highest they can get together as well. So, it does have its uses, as you can see here.

@potzeula Yeah, they really toned it down as far as the damage goes for multiple uppercut combos. Still, with some characters its really damaging like Mileena. I can get 51% out of her with a double uppercut combo.

@pbhaggan87 In this video, you see me do the X-RAY cancel in the combo at 1:10, and you will see that this 67% combo is the highest Sub Zero / Skarlet Tag combo in the entire video. So, the X-RAY cancel definitely can be useful in situations like that, seeing as how 67% damage is higher than any combo that Sub Zero or Skarlet can do by themselves, so as you can see, the X-RAY cancel does have its uses.

It starts with a few tag combos, but then goes the combos go in the order of Sub, Skarlet, Tag, Skarlet, Sub, Tag, Sub, Skarlet, Tag, Skarlet, Sub, Tag, Sub Skarlet, Tag, Skarlet, Sub, Tag, and so on. I figured it would give at least some type of order to the combos.

DAM did anyone else notice that at the end of the video where subby and skarlet and beating up on shao kahn, that tyler lantern had to take scenes from both endings and make that. because if you beat the arcade ladder in tag mode you only see 1 character beating up shao kahn, not 2 characters like tyler lantern shows. that is some nice editing skills rite there. i gotta give tyler lantern props. that shows he will do the smallest details just to make the video that much better

@SegaPwner I was wondering if anyone would notice that lol. That actually took a lot of time to edit perfect with the music behind it right. I had to beat the arcade ladder with Sub Zero with the music off and effects on, recording it, then with Skarlet, music off and effects on, recording it, then I beat it with JUST the music on, recording it. Then, I took the music and both endings, put each hit perfect to go with the music, and then published it. It was a lot harder than it looks lol.

I know it took me a while to release this video, but every time I was about to release it, but a big video like this takes a lot of time and work put in to it to make it this good. It may only be 13 minutes long, but it takes a lot longer to figure out EACH combo, then do all of them, and finally edit them together to make it entertaining. This is AMAZING. Seriously, my jaw just hit the floor! Its insane how most of the combos you end with xrays, you could just end up a slide and it would STILL be a high damage no meter combo. I love when Tyler do combos like that, because I see the combo end with an xray, but I know it will STILL be high damage if I end it using no meter. Absolutely amazing Tyler.
