  • Jerk.

  • I have a chronic problem with this, but it seems to me that approval seeking is essential, that is why you spend from 0:31 to 1:02 in a promoting yourself with references to external references that bespeak of being approved of by a lot of others, and thus, we are now ready to approve of you. The point you make about not attaching your product to your identity is a good one for beginners, but I thinka salesperson is entitled to feel personally satisfied after a big sale. It IS about YOU!

  • @mistersmith6000 He is seeking approval there, to get money. That is not bad. It's bad when you look for approval when you get nothing in return, but a brush to your ego.

  • @mistersmith6000 thumbs up, i didn't catch that.

  • Thank you for sharing your advice - very true - being able to separate the product and yourself

  • hey, cld u giv me more tips on how to stop seekin approval? maybe more specific ones? thx(: i'll be veri grateful to you if you were to help me a lot(:

  • What's his nationality? Dude sounds a little off.

  • @iammandymoore Pretty sure he's Australian.

  • natch; fox network news. nix

  • I agree with the comment on the sound quality. Also a darker background would look nicer. But, the message is great!! :)

  • I believe that many of us have grown up being "people pleasers". In other words, constantly seeking the approval of others as Patrick talks about in this video.

He's right ... when people say "no", they're not saying no to you. The business opportunity, products, or services are simply not a good fit for them.

I like the approach of just having a nice, genuine conversation with prospects first before bringing "business" into the exchange.

    Expert advice!

  • Good message. I think it would be better sound if it weren't recorded in an empty room where the sound bounces around. Maybe a better mike would help?

  • This is a great video!

  • I would promote this in the 5th, grade and up. Every year.
