It's Mary Bradley in the lyrics. He was a close friend of Jona's before he died in 2005, right from the beginning before he was famous. Her real name was Martin Bradley and was a well known transvestite clubber and I think lodged with Jona for a while when he lived in Brixton.

On facebook Stop the Cavalry page it is said that the musician Sam Waylen co-wrote this with Jona. If this is so why didn't Jona credit him? He is now a homeless but life affirming, warm and generous character in Edinborough, with vids on YT.
