This series in four sections is great! Thanks for posting it! Ludwig's singing is awesome!
I also enjoy a another posting which is a contrast to this. It is just the section which begins here at 5:35. It is posted as:
"Mirjam's Siegesgesang, with solo by Alexander Lischke".
In that version both the soloist and the choir put a greater effort and passion into the music, which I enjoy! Also, the use of an an orchestra adds to that rendition.
By the way, the "page turner" is none other than Helga Schmidt-Gaden, Maestro's faithful wife and friend. She handles the business of the choir so her husband can concentrate on the music. What a team!
To each his/her own ... This is Ludwig Mittelhammer, one of the greatest Toelzer soloists ever. This piece is rarely sung, and never before by a boy soloist and choir. Enjoy this rare treat!
One more reason to be proud to be friends with Ludwig.

Only one piano player escorting the boys choir, but what a pandorabox of sound! Choir and boy soprano are excellent; they don't need an orchestra!
